yeahstephanie Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Um, well that was remarkably anticlimactic. I thought it was actually going to be a preview of a song. Not 2 notes repeated for a full minute.I commented on the GDA Myspace post that it was kind of a disappointment. But, I'll take what I can get I suppose. It was still really great to hear.

Solitary One Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Damn Green Day and their ability to make me excitied!
The Disappearing Boy Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 it is quite possible that those two guitar chords are overlayed with a vocal track, which they have edited out for now, and that crescendo at the end is where the chorus, not the the verse starts.
farley drexel hatcher Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 I just thought they'd dragged those notes out, to play longer than they will in the actual song. But who knows

Good point.I still think it's either a transition between songs, or an intro.
Anja Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Just think, this is the beginning of everything. This is where it's all going to start.Within a few months, this will explode.Word!!!it is quite possible that those two guitar chords are overlayed with a vocal track, which they have edited out for now, and that crescendo at the end is where the chorus, not the the verse starts.Thats a really good point. I was really wondering if he plays sixteen chords until the actual song starts.

British Idiot Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 I know it's only 2 chords with a piano behind them etc. But it's been produced so nicely, it sounds AMAZING. If the whole album sounds that sweet then we are all going to be very happy
