Katarina. Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Haha, we're all acting as if it will be a historical moment or something I don't care really what the surprise is.. just the fact they'd be showing up at an actual show THIS SUNDAY makes me so happy and excited!
Guest LusciousZ Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 blink 182 is gross.the possibility of green day ever playing with them again is zero. it won't happen.

**nobodylikesyou** Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 andres is just letting on he knows nothing when he really is gonna be there playing a strip song for them to get all naked and frisky to your my Favorite Son. but it is, dear.its of epic proportions.Green Day Returns.Could there be ANYTHING more important? seriously?
Rob Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Unfornately, I do think Andres is right about the performance. I don't think that'd be kept a secret, but again, I hope to God I'm wrong. But the fact that they pointed out that something big is gonna happen on Sunday after they had already confirmed they were presenting at the grammys has to mean something, whether it happens while they're at the grammys or not. Perhaps maybe they'll announce something on their official website about the new album in terms of a release date and album title that day. There has to be something. May isn't that far off anymore. Only three months. And if the album is going to be released sometimes towards May, we should know something relatively soon. Otherwise, I'm gonna start believing the album has a Summer release planned.
Katarina. Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 its of epic proportions.Green Day Returns.Could there be ANYTHING more important? serioulsy?I can't think of anything else
Guest LusciousZ Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 its of epic proportions.Green Day Returns.Could there be ANYTHING more important? serioulsy?Nothing comes to mind. It's like the official return of green day. eff the AP article.
Tubbie Head Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 I just realised that the release of the album will be on sunday.. :whistling:
Spark of Insanity Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 Oh I am excited that we may be getting more of a surprise. But I am not going to set myself up fully for disappointment. But I was just planning on not being so vigilant and just see when Green Day comes on.Now I just told my sister we are watching every single bit of it, not turning the channel during comercials until I see Green Day and what happens.
IscoredWaddlesgoals Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 I'm not sure if I can care after seeing Tom Jones sing 'Sloop John B' on a boat. Wearing just y fronts and a little sailor hat. I DEMAND GREEN DAY DO THE SAME ON SUNDAY.
The Disappearing Boy Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 im certain they will release something. i mean there is no other reason for them to be there, out of the blue presenting an award."explodes into a 4/4 blast of chiming guitars and rolling toms".
Tripe Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Hmm interesting speculation on this thread! I for one would love to see them perform something new or even a song with someone else...but it does seem like that would be a hard secret to keep given the number of people involved with the Grammy production. On the other hand, a "surprise" is hardly just being there for the presentation of an award.Stay tuned to the end; I have a feeling that whatever happens will be at the very end of the show.
