GTI Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Is it worth it to be on the floor, or would it be better to get actual seats? If I don't get literally front row, by the stage or the outlet thingy, it seems like a waste to me.. plus, what if I cant see over all of the people!?
jake smith Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 yes. i could have done in 2005 because they came to sheffield but i was only about 10 so i wasn't aloud.
crazychic Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 hell yeah it wud be awsome as i missed their last tour
**nobodylikesyou** Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Definitely going to any concerts that they do in my area. Am sure they won't be coming to my city, but I plan on going to any shows they do in the southwest U.S. So maybe Phoenix? Albuquerque?GDC get togethers would be great, especially because I missed meeting everyone at the Phoenix Foxboro show..
TotalBasketCase13 Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 I plan on attending at least 2, possibly 3 dates. All in the Midwest area, cause I know I'll never have enough money to travel elsewhere. My options are pretty much anywhere in Iowa, St. Louis, Kansas City, Chicago, Omaha/Lincoln, or Minneapolis.
Guest LusciousZ Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 AI was $45-$55'ish.i paid $30..............
Joey Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 If they go to Reading then sure, otherwise it depends on money and venue.
virysya Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 If they'll come to my country....but I hardly believe they will...........

You are pushed around and a bit squished - but being that close and part of the atmosphere is completely worth it.Right up in front row is alright (though you're more squished than if you stood just a a row or two behind 1st). If floor tickets are an option, I'd always go with them for GD shows.
spark in the night Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 if I canI worry if I have to work or I have class or that nobody will go with me and I can't get a ride from school to the concert
Fuzz Posted January 22, 2009 Author Posted January 22, 2009 if I canI worry if I have to work or I have class or that nobody will go with me and I can't get a ride from school to the concert It doesn't fucking matter. Fuck work and school on that day. We need priorities dammit!
spark in the night Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 I could care less about Green Day but I'll go take my special someone to go see them if their tour will be in the latter end of the summer I may take a trip down south to see them :whistling:

Guest LusciousZ Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 If you get floor tickets, how does that work? You need to line up hours before to get in, I assume? No. You either buy a ticket that is GA/Floor or the less expensive tickets for the balconey seats (balcony?)
Guest Hayley Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 erm i'm not sure it depends on where the shows would be cause i'll probably need airtickets as well.
Hermione Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 YES! I've never seen them before and I can't wait. My sister and I are planning on getting there ridiculously early to have a shot at getting near the front. I know she can only afford one show, and I'll probably only go to one as well, or possibly two if I have the money. Oh, and it's not the tickets that are expensive, it's the bloody transport if you don't have a car!No. You either buy a ticket that is GA/Floor or the less expensive tickets for the balconey seats (balcony?)I was wondering about that too, having only ever been to little local gigs. I take it those GA/Floor tickets sell out very very fast? I hope it's not too tough to get them.
**nobodylikesyou** Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 It doesn't fucking matter. Fuck work and school on that day. We need priorities dammit!I like the way you think boy. Is it worth it to be on the floor, or would it be better to get actual seats? If I don't get literally front row, by the stage or the outlet thingy, it seems like a waste to me.. plus, what if I cant see over all of the people!?I dont know, I am so damn short that if I can't be right up in front I am pretty sure I wouldnt see a damn thing. :/
NoVaCaInE! Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 I hope to head over to the UK and surrounding areas in addition to catching several shows here in the states. I will definitely host a GD meet up here in the middle of the USA when they are on tour. Are you serious Beth? If they come to ireland you so fucking need to go to dublin Ok?
pismodiver Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Geeeeee, will I go see Green Day? Hmmmmmmmm, let me think about it........
