^I can't argue with that :D. God imagine once it's out and there's interviews, tv appearances and articles galore, it'll be heavenly!

Absolutely!! :D

And about GD being on MTV.. I would only love to see that.. cuz it's on most of the time here.. and that's my chance to listen to Green Day even more! :D

Oh.. and don't forget the vid that goes with the song.. I'd like to watch them too.. and when they're on tv, it's just even better

And slightly annoying

As much as I will love for hearing what they now have to say, back in AI era, it was a drag seeing them on MTV 24/7

But yeah I go with 75% heavenly 25% annoying

Hahah they couldnt have been on mtv 24/7 cuz mtv doesnt play music anymore......

and I loved it when they were ON TV all the time. Loved the new videos, pictures, interviews and performances. It was awesome. Can't wait for them to be in the limelight again!

Yeah.. I just wish Green Day would make some things official yk.. like being done with producing the album.. giving a release date for the record and stuff.. so we won't be getting a lot of rumors and stuff anymore xD

Yeah...I think they like to see us suffer..

They were, believe me, I hated it

That explains much my anger towards not mixing things up

After 3 months I hated the video, every hipster was singing the song, awful

I mean, BOBD is a great song, I still like, but seeing it for 9 months straight every day was bad

Well............

I think even if they do play Coachella this year they will play a smaller venue show before this.

Like they did in july of '04. their first show was in downtown LA and then they went on to play festivals.

But regardless, The Replacements aren't getting back together and Elvis Costello said himself he's too busy to play shows this year since he has his new talk show. So I don't know what to believe.

It would be cool IF they played there.. but we'll see.

That sounded like it could be true, Until the Red Hot Chili peppers thing. RHCP is on a break. So I highly doubt it

Yeah, I thought that, playing festivals cold is not wise

Husker Du reunion, FTW (not happening though)

The thought alone makes me cream

They should do it, now!

btw, anyone got any word on Husker du's reaction to Green Day's cover

Cause I do know that Bob digged Dave Grohl's cover of Never talking to you again (or was it Grant)

well if they are done recording....then it might be true.

i hope they will do a world tour soon.

I'd be interested to hear his thoughts.

He's said that he thought green day was a great band, so he probably digs their HD cover.

Edit: This has nothing to do with anything but I found this semi-funny. (Bob talking about his song 'Beating Heart The Prize') "The front part of that song I stole from Avril Lavigne by accident. I think Green Day stole it too."

he's talking about boulevard of broken dreams, and i never noticed it before but after hearing it and bob's song i automatically know what avril song he's talking about

do you live in LA? I'd go see them if/when they play. coachella would be kinda hard for me to get to though, that's why i'm so paranoid about this.

Green Day at the end of the tour will probably play at The Warfield, and you know that'll be a long one

Yeah I live in the area. And I'm hoping they play here first! And if they played Coachella, I probably wouldn't even be able to go because my dad hates festivals. Humph.

Well, festivals are a tad bit dangerous

It's very loud, if you fall, you need to get picked up or you can die, moshing can be somewhat painful, you know that stuff

Posted

^Yeah that's why I probably couldn't go. I want to live to see their next album

I hate festivals too... they're expensive and i hate being in the middle of nowhere surrounded by hippies.

i guess the only good thing about them is that you can do drugs in public
