Ila Reto Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 yea no, that's not possible for me to do. trust me i've tried.
Princess Consuela Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 I've never tried to make one for two reasons1. It'd be far too long.2. It keeps changing for me.
Hermione Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 yea no, that's not possible for me to do. trust me i've tried.I don't think I'd ever even try, it would just piss me off in the extreme . I made a CD of some extra GD songs, like live ones and stuff, that I didn't yet have on a CD and had to leave a couple off, that was bad enough!
Miss. Awesome Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 i tried making a best of green day playlist and failed miserably, ended up putting all of there songs apart from take back into it.ya there all too good!!!

I made a CD of some extra GD songs, like live ones and stuff, that I didn't yet have on a CD and had to leave a couple off, that was bad enough! i know right!? and plus it wasnt even for me, it was for somebody saying they wanted to make their friend a CD of their best songs. i couldnt answer it, i just got frustrated lol.

I think it was Blood Sex And Booze that finally did the trick of "converting" my sister, maybe that's a good one to have

chatnoir Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Are we making playlists again? Is there a contest? Jk.I made a GD list for a friend to get her into it. It was funny, I left out some of the more rough songs from the first 4 albums, because I thought, she would like the catchy more mainstreamy melodies from Warning or AI more, but actually, it were songs from Dookie and Insomniac, which she liked the most.I never made a GD playlist for myself, I prefer to listen to the albums.
mmmcrazypills Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 A best of is very much possible. It is illogical to say that every song they've ever written is equally as good as the next, its not possible.
Hermione Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 ^That doesn't mean there can't be enough of their songs you find equally good for them not to all fit on one CD.
chickin'pickin' Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 A best of is very much possible. It is illogical to say that every song they've ever written is equally as good as the next, its not possible. Annnd common sense prevails, just when I was losing hope.
Hermione Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 I'm sure the word "impossible" in the title was intended to be taken entirely literally
chickin'pickin' Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Well you'd have thought that, but...... apparently it is impossible.
Hermione Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Actually technically it isn't impossible, there is a small statistical chance it isn't
Rezurgam Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 iPod? What is this iPod you people speak of? Seriously though, it is impossible to some because of the bias towards Green Day that they have. Others who aren't big fans will probably choose like 5 songs. I know I tried making a playlist of Green Day's best and I still have like 70-80% of their songs on it.
farley drexel hatcher Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 I have taken a few of my favorite tracks from each album and fit them on one disc XD. I love most of the songs, but I obviously like some more than others and I used those. It's not that hard.

They'll be some you love, some you like, some you think are ok etc. I don't understand why people think it's so hard.
Hermione Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 ^Too many in the love category, that's the problem.
Radioactive1 Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 ^Too many in the love category, that's the problem.Heheh! I knew you were going to say that
Tiffx Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 I've never attempted to make a best of Green Day playlist. What a waste of time. I have all their music on my ipod, so no need for a specific playlist.
Pineapple Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 it depends on everyones own taste and favourite songs from Green Day, work it out from there FEWL
Radioactive1 Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 I've never attempted to make a best of Green Day playlist. What a waste of time. I have all their music on my ipod, so no need for a specific playlist. It's not completely pointless.I drive and so have a playlist on my ipod so I can attach it to the radio in my car and just let all the good songs play through when I'm driving. It would be dangerous for me to start changing CD's or scrolling through the ipod menu when I'm driving. Additionally if I'm doing something like cleaning the house, I just set that playlist upto my speakers and let it plays. It prevents me from listening to one song I like whilst cleaning, then going over to change a song onto another Green Day album and then going back to cleaning.
