Vanessa Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Well, I've gotta say I'd be way more excited if they came here a couple years ago. I'll go for sure and I'm excited especially since I've never seen them before live but I'm not going to be all OMGZ GREEN DAY IS COMING OMG SQUEE. But yeah, I'm sure there are a handful of people who aren't looking forward to it. I'm not looking forward to all the noobs that'll come in here though. I guess this place will liven up at least, even if that liveliness is all used to yell at noobs.
chatnoir Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I have never seen them live before and I am totally excited about a world tour. And GDC is my place to freak out about this. Don`t you ruin it, you negative nancy, you!!
Jewels! Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 The Green Day world tour doesn't affect me any. However, it may be fun to go to a Green Day concert together and wallow in shame.
Tiffx Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I'm not looking forward to it. The only reason being that I realised I have no friends who are fans of Green Day who would go with me to a concert. I don't particuarly want to go to a Green Day concert alone so yeah. That's the only reason. This makes me sound so pathetic haha.
Guest LusciousZ Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I'm not excited yet!I'm too busy to even think about it really but I know once I hear anything about them playing shows I will be hyperventilating with enthusiasm.I'm not looking forward to it. The only reason being that I realised I have no friends who are fans of Green Day who would go with me to a concert. I don't particuarly want to go to a Green Day concert alone so yeah. That's the only reason. This makes me sound so pathetic haha.you can't just do things on your own?i'd suggest you go and make better friends at the show because obviously yours are not as cool as you. i always make friends with people in line.
Rezurgam Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I'm not stoked about it. I mean, it'd be good that they go some where near where I live but there's a high chance that I won't go because I probably won't be able to find anyone to go with and it'd probably be during times when I'm testing/studying for stuff.
billie-joe-geek72 Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 i always make friends with people in line.me tooooo.most of my friends are people i've met at shows i'm probably gunna end up going by myself and just meeting people there lol
Guest Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Well when theu say "world" tour it makes me no look forward to it because they will spend 3 times more time in other counties than here in the US, thus probably not coming to my city(which they haven't been here since Shanagians), and I'm sure as hell not going Atlanta or Nashville for it unless my friend gives me a ride.
Guest LusciousZ Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 me tooooo.most of my friends are people i've met at shows i'm probably gunna end up going by myself and just meeting people there lolMan you guys are such loners!Me and my girly are going to LA and Frisco to see them. Guest LusciousZ Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 If I ever go to Seattle, I'll go to a show with youAiight. you can sleep on my floor.have they played in venezuela before? amy_runs Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I'm excited. Not extremely, yet.... but yeah I would still go to see them. My love for them has died down just a tiny bit, and I'm not sure why

Guest TwoDollarMellie Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Probably someone who fell into a coma around the time Dookie came out, woke up when AI came out, and got pissed as hell for Green Day's shift in sound.I would be.

I always wish that there was at least 2 more albums worth of Dookie-esque songs.
Drink Drank Punk Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I'm not that excited about it to be honest, I don't really like stadium shows. I'll probably go if the tickets are cheap.
queso Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 ME! i want another foxboro-sized tour!! to the same places!!! actually, im lying, a stadium tour would be fun to go to again. i like the theatricality of stadium shows... the intimacy and rawness of club shows is better, but stadium's are fun too
TotalBasketCase13 Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I'm looking forward to it, but I know tons of people who couldn't care less. I plan on attending at least 2 dates.
death_has_a_shadow Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 Am I glad that they're going to be on tour? Yes. Am I excited? Not really. It's just that this has been a tough year (financially) for me. I just lost my job, I have to pay tuition, and Green Day always comes to these huge arenas that cost between $60 to $100. I would love to go, but I don't think that I can spend money on the tickets.
