Farah Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Because I really wanna see them live. Yeah it sounds crazy but let me explain.this year lots of other bands will come here, and they'll probably come before Green Day, if they do. And I wanna go to those concerts, so I won't be able to pay for the tix to a GD one, 'cause international bands' concerts are really expensive.Plus, there are other things that concerts bring that I wn't be able to do if they come this year. Like staying in line for 3 days to get a good place and stuff...I don't know, that's just me. I'm pretty sure lots of other people want them to come to Brazil but I don't. At least not this year.ooh, i get it now then.
Hitman Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I'd like to see them live. I wouldn't say I'm "Pumped", but it'd be nice to finally see them.
drumstick Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Don't get me wrong! I would stay in line for a month if I needed. But you know, I have to work and stuff... It's not worth it staying in line and losing my job and then dying of hunger 'cause I don't have money :/ ok, enough drama.I'm just saying I'd appreciate it more if they came next year.ok...you choose would you go or not, but I can't understand how can you go on those other concerts and on Green Day not. and how can you loose your job because of them. You wont stay in line more than an hour for sure. And they are not so often there in Brazil, so...it would be great opportunity to see them
Roxy. Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I know But see, sometimes when a famous band comes here, you have to stay in line for MORE than a day if you wanna see them. Specially Green Day, that came here 10 years ago. And I'm pretty sure my boss wouldn't let me miss days at work because of that. You know, my biggest dream is too see them and I'd do my best to do it if they came this year. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't.But the question was if I'm excited for their tour, and I said yes, but I'd like it more if they came here in 2010. Got it?

Yussef Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I love it when my friend calls them emo. It's fucking hilarious. And eh, I bet I wouldn't be allowed to go so I'm not too fussed. I'd love if they released a live album though.
Katarina. Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 People who don't know them Not me.. I ABSOUTELY CAN NOT WAIT!!
saurus Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I'd like to see them live. I wouldn't say I'm "Pumped", but it'd be nice to finally see them.This.
marta_gs Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I'm very very veeery excited for their tour.. i can't wait for see them alive! *-*
dookiehead Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I'm quite looking forward to it, but I'm not certain I'm going to be able to go, what with GCSEs and things. Do we have any idea roughly when the UK dates might be?
Princess Consuela Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Plenty of people are not but I'm not among them for sure
Ally Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I'm looking forward to it, anyone who isn't must be mad, only kidding, not everyone will be i bet, especially those who can't afford it, if i had to pay i wouldn't be able to afford it and wouldn't be going, but since mother is paying...YAY!^^i worked out if it works like last time it will be august/september cos with AI they announced the tour a month after AI was released (so october) and the tour happened in january (3 months later), so i think i may be round august/september but i dunno
Ila Reto Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 it would be comforting to know that green day is back. But honestly, i think the only reason for me to be dreading the world tour is because i know im not going to be able to go to any of the shows. im not allowed. so it'll be another heartbreak just like FHT except they'd only be playing 2 hours away instead of across the country. i guess it'll be okay, you know, hearing stories and such like i always have...

I've never seen them live, it'll be great. The one thing i'm not looking forward to is getting hold of tickets. I hope it's not too difficult.

billie-joe-geek72 Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 I've been waiting a long time to see them live, and my mom has actually been saving some money to buy me a ticket and everything, and transportation if they don't come to London [hopefully they will].But yeah, I must say im pretty stoked, it will complete my life ahahhahahaa

billie-joe-geek72 Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 ^I've never really used ticketmaster to buy tickets, but when i order them online from the John Labatt Centre, its always a pain in the ass to get a hold of them, cause the server is busy with a bunch of people trying to buy tickets. It seems much more easier just waiting in line at the venue or something and getting them then, cause at least if you go early, your guaranteed your ticket. hahaha
FilmAdaptation Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Their lives shows are disappointing, unless they're going to suddenly stop playing the same show over and over.
Juan Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 If it's a shit setlist (which I don't have a clue) then the tour will be sub parBut I'm looking foward to all those bootlegs (their chance to come to my country is pretty null, I'll settle down with some nifty live audio or video)
rachiek Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 i know im looking forward to a world tour more then anything
Ila Reto Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Why aren't you allowed to go?my mother wont let me.
madie Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 The only thing I'm not looking forward to is the possibilty that they won't come to Australia!
