Morgan7 Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 That s pretty awsome and it's cool that they mentioned Green Day.
music_that_is Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 The poem's awesome, really great.Though, i got bored in the middle of the video because of the guy's accent
Emily Dell Posted December 7, 2008 Author Posted December 7, 2008 I think the connection between the hippy scene and the grunge scene is that they're not really doing anything positive about the world. Hippes thought flowers were the answer. Grunge didn't really have an answer, it was more about wallowing in self-pity. Punk is trying to provide an answer by actually doing something.I agree the end is the best bit. That's the bit that makes me cry.
chatnoir Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 *throws her fist in the air in solidarity*: VIVA LA PUNK, JUST ONE LIFE, ANARCHY!I really love the last verse. I know, it is not Shakespeare, but that is not the point, I guess. I love the energy, that comes out of it. And it may not be very subtle and it sounds even a bit naive, but it is true non the less.
Emily Dell Posted December 24, 2008 Author Posted December 24, 2008 theres a kinda video for the song now: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ukC4qmaNwYw#
