hahahaha

my mum and dad would probably not let me watch it ever again!

yet if someone started masturbating in one of their shows they probably wouldn't give a fuck!!

it's pretty annoying the way they do that!!

My mom blushed at Billies sexual antics, but over all my parents enjoyed the cover of

"Shout" :happy:

my mum came in when i was watching it the day of my tenth birthday and asked me if they did drugs before they went on stage. i didn't wanna get yelled at (i was 10 okay) so i lied, said no, and told her to go away. :]

My mom has seen Hitching A Ride. She's cool like that though and she didn't care. I have no idea if my Dad has seen it. He likes Green Day but he doesn't like American Idiot as much because he's a Repub

my parents LOVE it, but my mom only like its because she has a huge crush on billie :o

if they have even seen it....? And also what do they think of Hitchin' a Ride? Because I'm watching it with them tonight and I have the Hitchin a Ride song on my iPod from iTunes...and I know what happens....and I don't know what to say when it comes to that part.... what should I say?

By the way I searched. Either my search engine is screwed up or there's not a topic like this.

My mom likes it, she doesn't like the masturbation part. But other than that she thinks it's awesome

she likes it,

funny thing:

my ex-girlfriend borrowed it form me when we used to go out, she told me i should have warned her of that HAR moment.

her mom was really scared and freaked out, what sucks is that i think she knew the dvd was mine

I watched it the first time with my mother, I believe. I don't think she mind....Don't remember her ever mentioning it at least.

They've never seen it, and I don't plan on letting them see it either. It's not like they care anyway.

They don't mind the swearing, or the wanking, they enjoyed the whole DVD. I think my dad is gonna watch it tonight, again

Am I the only one who took my father to see them?

I'm actually the GDC cool kid  (more than likely the nerd, but HEY I did pull a bird at the bowl, so there. )

I did. Not by choice, though.

my father would probably say: noooohh :o and i would totally be like :whistling: :D

My parents just wanted to see the hitchin a ride part just to see what Billie did during it. I was all red in the face and sweating. I remember my dad said "That guys sick" I remember saying to him "Hes HOT!" My dad also commented on one of the pics I have in my room that Billie looked gay. I was excuse me he's married with 2 kids. They piss me off so much.

Posted

I'm so sick of dicks like that calling Billie gay just cuz he's flamboyant. Fuck all the Billie haters.

My parents have never seen Bullet In a Bible, and I'm not going to show them it.

Some parts, like Hitchin a Ride, would be too awkward.

i remember i once tried to make my dad watch it, but he watched american idiot and just said "they're crap live, turn it off. the guitarist needs to learn more chords" or something. he taught himself guitar so he's kinda up himself about that, haha

My parents don't care about Green Day or any of my music to actually be bothered to watch BIAB. There's no reaosn for them to watch either really, and I ain't gonna make them.

Posted

The only songs my parents have seen from BIAB are BOBD, Basket Case, WMUWSE and Good Riddance, ie the inoffensive ones :D

My dad on Good Riddance: "Is he stoned or something?"

When I first got it, I watched it at my brother's house with his fiancee and my sister (who was about 10 at the time), having no idea about the content of it.

My brother happened to be in the kitchen during Hitchin' A Ride, and his fiancee kept looking at me gobsmacked going "Jennifer!!" over and over again

The funny thing was that my brother came back in again, having no idea whatsoever of what just happened  none of us were prepared to explain!

After that he just kept making comments about Billie's height, for example when he was walking around with that beer bottle, he was like "well it would only take one bottle to get him blocked, wouldn't it?"

Ah, good times.

Ah, I remember when I got my 9 year old cousin hooked on Green Day which resulted in him buying BIAB. Before I could warn my aunt about some of the contents he had already gone up to her shrieking "BILLIE JOE WAS PEEING ON THE PEOPLE"

Eh.

Mutti saw a bit, when I was watching Bullet in a Bible for the first time. In fact she was following the obvious sounds and after she spot Billie Joe, she stood in the middle of room with hands on her hips. She remained silent with raised brows during the whole scene, but after the end she turned to me and she was like "Well, now I know what YOU see in him"

Since then, she insists on referring to Billie Joe as "this moron" or "the short man", though. At least until she learned he is friends with Bono.

Vati hasn't seen BIAB and probably never will, he's too lazy to watch the entire show on his own. But if it was me who played the disc, I'm almost sure he would pretend he's not watching the Hitchin' a Ride part, leaning over his work. Generally he would enjoy th rest; I caught him on stealing my Green Day CDs twice or so.

haha, my first post in a one year time.

Parents just don't understand

After watching BIAB my mum actually said "we" HAVE to get tickets to see them when they next come to the uk. Shes been an avid fan since, bless her. King For A Day became one of her fav songs...still, it's to be expected, she was a bit of a punk in the '70s. :P

My dad thought they were "ok" too...amazing since any band that isnt The Eagles are crap in his eyes.

None of the swearing or wanky bit caused problems. It happens. Bands have done way more worse things than that, and worse is on tv. My parents just accepted it as part of the act. I even find it wierd people would get worried about that. Its only working up "the crowd" to a surge...erm....
