haha my mom was actually laughing during Hitchin A Ride..and then especially there's a part when Billie just drops his pants and they show his whole ass LOL!

she thought it was hilarious :D

This is why I find actually going to a Green Day concert to my parents to be rather liberating. Maybe Billie will say or do something I wish my parents didn't hear or see, but I can't help it. I can't fast forward. It's like me saying "These are the most important people in my life. You can take them or leave them, but I love them just the way they are."

What our parents did when they were young are probably the exact things we want to shield them from now, which is pretty hysterical. They probably don't care - it's US that are all freaky about it.

Haha, I love reading these types of thread :') - I just find them really funny for some reason.

My parents love Green Day/watch BIAB.

I can't imagine them having a problem with it.

I remember one time, back when it was first out - I was babysitting this like 6 year old kid and me and my friend were watching it and for some reason didn't think of these scenes and that it would be akward.

...

The kid told her mom about it. fml.

To this day I think her mom thinks I had her watching porn. fuuuuuuck.

When my Grandma saw that part she laughed straight into her cup of tea and it spewed all over her face, I nearly wet myself!

I just pictured MY grandma watching Bullet in a Bible... oh, dear god.

I once was watching it, and I wasn't paying attention. Suddenly, my mom was laughing, because Billie was flashing his ass xD

One time I wasa watching it, and my mom wanted to watch Hitchin' a Ride, oblivious to the masturbation part, so I was like, "Uh. Sure. Heh." and when it got close to the part, I left the room to 'get something.'

The perfect escape :eyebrows: lol

Wouldn't it be funny if your mum just walked out of the room like

*trance-like state* ".....that.....was......different...dear"

ok, quite a long shot that BIAB causes zombie-like states in parents, but, you never know :o

My grandma actually loves BIAB! And Green Day in general, she thinks they have great stage presence and that they're great showmen! And she thinks Billie has a lovely face! She also says Mike should eat something, I'm like "There's no way he's that strong if he doesn't eat, he's just always been skinny."

She always assumes we're watching the whole concert, she has no clue that I skip HAR and KFAD for her!

My parents know it makes me happy, my dad even has some Green Day on his iPod!

My parents absolutely hate Bullet in a Bible and Green Day. They pretty much hate everything that I love with a fucking passion. They disapprove of me, but that's fine with me :)

I watch this sometimes with me mother, she actually asked me to put it on. I always conveniently skip HAR. I watched it once with her and it was really awkward, she sort of made jokes about it and laughed a bit but it was still really embarassing. Do you ever notice how that part seems to go on forever when there's someone else in the room? I don't think I could ever watch that withn my Dad, that would be way too weird...

Yes! I'm sure most of the DVD is taken up by HAR

They like it i guess because they like Green Day too - and this has enhanced after they saw them live. I often find my Dad has the BIAB cd on in his car (he copied it from me).

hahaha, I would NEVER let my parents watch this. They would be like "WTF?"

I don't even want to imagine what they would say.

I never watch BIAB when they're around.

Not that I care too much about what my parents think about Green Day, but it's just not cool. I'd be totally embarrassed.

that's why I don't like them to come with me in their concert! and when I heard that they're coming to Asia I didn't make any attempt to get information about tickets. :/

I think my dad didn't watch much of it..But my mom did. I think, meanwhile she watched full of it but never saw the HAR part. But, she likes it I think because of all her comments.

"You were there and did they play this song? OMG, this is loud." or "What is this guy doing there and why is he screaming so much?" lol

Awesome DVD. Can't wait for a new live DVD. Hopefully from Wembley 2010 :)

My parents haven't seen it yet :ninja: but I was watching it the other day & my brother (he's 12) came to my room & he put this face :  when he heard Billie having an orgasm on hitching a ride, and then he was imitating the sound & my mom was kinda "wtf is going on with you? " lol

^ lol.

my parents have never seen BIAB but once I was watching it my father came during Minority and when after it Billie says 'you guys fuckin rule' my father turns on me and his face full of disguise - 'who the hell is this idiot? why is he swearing?' 'can't you just calm down, he said nothing too bad' 'oh yeah? you'd like me to talk to you like ;you fucking kid, go to your fucking room, change and go fucking sleep, huh?' 'it wasn't about that..' my father got pissed and stayed that all evening so it was taking crap out of me. what a moron.

I'm happy my father haven't saw HAR, mom too. It would be really awkward in front of them, really. And if my father would see it I guess he would take away BIAB dvd.

My dad loves it.. He's just like : Can you please set on something real music.. Green Day, I mean.. ?

While we are watching, he use to say something like : "Oh, they are a really good liveband" or "Billie Joe has some really short legs" (that's kinda anoying... And then I use to answer "I don't think so." or "I like him anyway" and then he's saying "I didn't say that he is ugly or something, just that he has short legs."

Anyway.. The HAR-part.. Umm. He doesn't say anything.. but I alway think about "What would he say now... :ermm: "

My dad came in at the part where Billie was talking about how playing made him feel, when he says something like:

"your dog got ran over, then you play a great show, and it's like- fuck the dog"

SO...my dad thinks Billie hates dogs now. :D he never watched the whole thing.
