What do your parents think of Bullet in a Bible?

I remember the first time I watched it, and Mum was in the kitchen making dinner. and I remember freaking out during Hitchin' a Ride that Mum was going to hear it and yell at me.

I don't think she cared at all. she came to the show with me last week and loved every second, including BJ getting naughty with himself haha

I've just had this conversation with my Mum. We're watching the Take That DVD of their Summer 09 tour that I went to watch with her.

Me: I thought it was good Mum. But not as good as Green Day.

Mum: Well at least Take That have a tour DVD out.

Me: Errr so do Green Day Mum. It's called Bullet in a Bible of when they were at Milton Keyes.

Mum: Oh.

So clueless.

My parents have never watched it and I wouldn't expect them to. Green Day is definitely not their scene.

Although whenever they hear the BIAB version of Longview they go "Ohhh, where have I heard that before? Maybe it was one of the 2,000,000 times you played it over the summer?!

whenever i watch the dvd again he goes like "ohh i knew this would happen. how many times did you watch that now?"

"how many people were there?"

"About 65.000 I think"

"How many people are going to the Wembley show?"

"about 80.000 or so. I don't really know"

"But it's gonna be even bigger than the concert on this DVD?"

"uhm, yes."

"OH MY GOD YOU WILL DIE!"

haha I actually ASKED my mom to watch it with me because I wanted her to bring green day any closer..before we started watching I just was like : "oh and mom just to let you know... the singer's gonna jack off " and she was like :"oh, ok" and so we watched it and tehn right before billie "began" i said now here he goes and at the end my mom said that its a funny dvd and that green day are a great live band and I was like

My Grandma loved Bullet in a Bible, especially Tre's tribute!

But I managed to scoot past the Hitchin' a Ride bit, for her benifit

I think my mum was slightly shocked when the hittchin a ride bit came on but all on she enjoys it! and tbh she has no choice but to watch it x]

My mom and I had a huge fight when it first came out. Because of the "explicit content" sticker, she was all in a huff about me watching it by myself (which IDK why, I have plenty of albums that are "explicit", not to mention before BIAB came out, she went to a GD concert with me). I didn't want her to watch it with me- it was special, and I wanted to watch it alone. Also - it would've been awkward to be sitting in silence on the couch during Hitchin' a Ride, lol. I won out and watched it by myself. She still hasn't watched it, and probably forgot it completely.

I'm weird with that stuff, though. If I know there's a sex scene in a movie, I would rather die than watch with my mom, lol. On my own, I love raunchy humor and stuff, but with her - it's too weird. She still thinks I'm innocent.

The funny thing was that at that time the part began where Billie puts his hand in his pants etc.

My mother just hates Green Day so she doesn't like BIAB as well,

my father at least likes it a bit.
