xXxRebelxXx Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 1039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours.I can't even listen to it.lol thats my new favourite GD album XD i would have to say my least favourite would be dookie just because its the one i listen to least
Blu Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 I'd have to say 1039. It just doesn't hit me like the other albums. I guess maybe because it was the beginning of their career and Billie wasn't as skilled at writing as he is now. The first 2 albums really. I like the raw sound, but at the same time it annoys me. I rarely listen to them. I don't think I listen to 1039 at all, unless I'm listening to my playlist with all their albums.
thisisAB Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 I LOVE 1,039, its kinda like my new favourite, I listen to it all the time. My all time faves are American Idiot, which I still listen to on occasion, and dookie, which I can't stand now, except Welcome to Paradise, weird phase I'm in.I HATE WARNING!!!! It doesn't fit in well with the other albums songs weren't very skillfully written (compared too any other Green Day album). Minority is overrated and annoying why do peoploe absolutely LOVE that song? My fave songs off it are Macy's Day Parade, Castaway and Warning, but they still don't fit in well with the other Green Day stuff. I love nimrod though!! A complete different kid of experimentation, as opposed to Warning, much better. http://www.geocities.com/gdaysucks/GreenDay2.jpg I found that on a Green Day hate site...
Morgan7 Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 I seriously can't decide. I love them all I get into different phases where i listen to one more that the others but there isn't one that I listen to less than all of the others...

SynthwaveTrooper Posted November 17, 2008 Author Posted November 17, 2008 so i am giving American idiot a second chance, so far... i am enjoying it all over again. let you know whats up afyer i listen to the whole album again.
!taste4suicidal! Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 idk this is hard, all of there albums own but i think in warning, billie joe didn't really use his voice as well as he could, like... well idk, i feel horrible saying so but hey, thats one of my favorite albums! haha
Hermione Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 I see everyone has made the correct decision and not voted for the best album, Nimrod I voted for Warning, but it's just plain wrong because it doesn't deserve to be called "least" anything, it's an amazing album. In fact, like all their albums, it goes through phases of being my favourite! Sorry Warning, I love you! This thread is evil
chatnoir Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 This thread is evil Yeah, you will slowly slip to the dark side of power, if you start thinking about your least favourite GD Album. :starwars:
Hermione Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 Yeah, you will slowly slip to the dark side of power, if you start thinking about your least favourite GD Album. :starwars: This is true! Thinking about that is the root of all evil.
chatnoir Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 This is true! Thinking about that is the root of all evil. The world could be a so much better place, if all the people would stop thinking about their least favourite Green Day album!
Hermione Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 If people stopped thinking about it, it would surely bring about world peace.
SynthwaveTrooper Posted November 17, 2008 Author Posted November 17, 2008 I am sorry! i never ment to bring this evil to the forums!
Hermione Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 ^ It's OK, you have exposed the evil, now we as a society can begin to fight against it
chatnoir Posted November 17, 2008 Posted November 17, 2008 I am sorry! i never ment to bring this evil to the forums! It`s ok, as long as you don`t make a thread about the least favourite band member. That would cause apocalypse immediatly, I guess.
insanedrummer Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 I had to say American Idiot. It's too pop-ish for my taste.
Guest LusciousZ Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 so i am giving American idiot a second chance, so far... i am enjoying it all over again. let you know whats up afyer i listen to the whole album again. You've only listened to it once?
Jaymee!! Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 American Idiot for sure.Agreed.Everyone loves Nimrod!
Starbug Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 It`s ok, as long as you don`t make a thread about the least favourite band member. That would cause apocalypse immediatly, I guess.Oh yeah. It would cause a rip in the space time continuum that would cause all of the moderator's heads to explode at one time.
SheBuildsQuickMachines Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 i didn't like 1039 smooth out slappy hours...i just never really cared for it....
Spark of Insanity Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 i didn't like 1039 smooth out slappy hours...i just never really cared for it....Pretty much the same for me, but I think it is because I haven't listened to it as much as the others. I have phases between which is the best and which isn't thier best. I think Nimrod is one of their best but 1039 I don't listen much to anymore.
Starbug Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Pretty much the same for me, but I think it is because I haven't listened to it as much as the others. I have phases between which is the best and which isn't thier best. I think Nimrod is one of their best but 1039 I don't listen much to anymore.I picked 1,039 as my least, even though it kinda isn't. I struggled between it and Warning. I don't really like to think of having a least favorite album (even though I do have a favorite) because I love them all, honestly, for different reasons. But I picked 1,039 because A-It's so different in tone from later albums and B-Tre ain't the drummer Reasons enough, i guess...
Spark of Insanity Posted November 18, 2008 Posted November 18, 2008 Exactly the same for me as well. I don't have an least favorite album. Even though I have a favorite. Nimrod. But I just think I like thier kind of middle sound they had with Nimrod and all of that. I just go back and forth. Plus I don't hear 1039's songs all that much anymore.
