I like these kinds of threads, and not just because I like reading about people talking about me (though thats definitely enjoyable).

As for the person who asked if i still come around here, absolutely. I haven't much over the past week because my schedule has been class/work/games/work/sleep repeat. But i do still come by every day.

Why I come by is pretty obvious, but aside from being the admin I still enjoy reading people's thoughts. It turns some people off that people can be such assholes on a forum, but for the most part (when it steers clear of the really mean personal stuff) I think it's great to read how people really feel about some things. I joined GDA because i liked Green Day, and while I still enjoy the band (and have my walls filled with their posters) I've stayed here because I've grown a much bigger appreciation of their fans that I get to interact with. This place has taught me more about people than anything previous in my life, and continues to.

I come on here mainly to keep right up to date with Green Day news/chat. Its also good to have a community of people who love Green Day as much as i do, and thus indulge in our obsession together! I enjoy initiating chat/debate on here through the odd thread i've started and its always intriguing to see if anyone resonds to my own posts.
