Haydée Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 i was jk i mean, they did believe that bullshit, i myself am considered hispanic, come on I'm latin too, but since I refuse to watch MTVLA i didn't say taco taco puta putaand so the walking on eggshells begin----- Jay! -----so what do you all think will have inspired this album? usually it comes from somewhere, let it be the blowing off steam of Insomniac, the reality of growing up and dealing with real things of Nimrod, or just the whole confusion of the world in American Idiot. i probably made terrible gramatical errors without even a proper statement, but you get what i'm asking.they're bored and want money.

That post on Yahoo Answers is using GDC as a source for the rumor when I've been trying to tell you guys these rumors are completely unsubstantiated. There's absolutely no proof of any album titles being used. Green Day is known not to leak out info before they're ready to. They're not amateurs at this. A couple of people saying they "overheard" it being talked about, people who we have absolutely no way to validate, is not a source. That's a rumor. And all of you have just gone along with it giving it some level of credibility where there shouldn't be any. This is how rumors get started and it's really bugging me that it's spawning from GDC. No one knows what the title is. No credible source has given any hints to anyone that we know of and could trust. Stop the rumors because they aren't helpful to anyone, especially when they begin to be attached to GDC. If there was any sort of credibility to the rumor I'd shut up, but there isn't any.Actually Andres, I was talking to Nikki Sixx the other day he was telling me when he was talking to Green Day about Motley Crues new album back in June about how the internet is making it harder to release promo stuff early with piracy and such, they were telling him that they they're thinking of a collaboration with Justin Timberlake and Kayne West. Pretty awesome eh.

I hope it's not a AI rip off, and just something not so clean sounding, like AI.Yeah I hope they go in a different direction and don't just churn out the same things again and personally hope it has a grittier sound and has variety throughout the album like Nimrod.
sydneygirl Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 I would imagine that the sound of the new album would be very different from AI, especially since AI was such a huge album, they would surely do something very very different from it. I'm sure it will be fantastic. Each and every Green Day album is fabulous in its own right, so I am 100% sure this new album will also be as great. That's why I can't choose a favourite GD album - each one is as brilliant as the rest.
