Moxy Crimefighter Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 ^Make sure the actual guys are our of the way, so they won't get hurt by the broken glass....Otherwise, not only will we not get any news, we won't get one for about another year or so! (Maybe not a year...)But I'll joing you anyway.MY GOODNESS I never thought of that?hmmm... it will narrowly miss them, the brick MAY break some studio equipment. but then again. I never claimed to be good at actually throwing things... yea but god forbid it hits one of them. no use seeing or hearing of them then with a broken arm or face. that wouldnt be too good at all now would it? heheh i wonder if they still get fanmail? PETITION TIME! gosh i still remember part of their address that was given out of a teenie magizine in early 2006:3300 warner bros blvdc/o warner bros recordsburbank, CA 91505Hmmm... maybe I caN just mail them the brick and note *ponders*
SOMERTEN Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Who's big idea was it to accuse people of stalking the band if they hung around the studio? now we have no bleedin news....I dunno in my day these people were called fans. Stalkers were peole who raided your trash and told you they loved you whilst trying to kill you... Oh how things have moved on............ Mind you in reading these posts it seems ok to throw a brick through the studio window as long as you don't look like you have been there too long before doin' it so you are not a stalker!
Kryssi. Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Woah, woah, woah. What the hell have I stepped into here?No points if someone says dog shit.

leacalifornia Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 do we know for certain the new album is coming next year??i've just been reading tid bits of news on the home page...
Fuzz Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 I'd say it's very very likely to come out next year.
Kryssi. Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 I've heard from good sources that Green Day are going to start touring again very soon.
Fuzz Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 I've heard from good sources that Green Day are going to start touring again very soon. They won't tour till after the album comes out. Doesn't make sense to me that they're still in the recording process (at some level of it) and that they'd go on tour "soon". I'll be skeptical of anything before May of next year. That's just the arbitrary date I assume in my head with absolutely no proof of it.
The Disappearing Boy Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 I've heard from good sources that Green Day are going to start touring again very soon.it won't be until the time the album comes out, so it will be next year and probably not too soon.
Hermione Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 ^Yeah I think you're right, it'll probably over the summer or something. I wish they would tour in April when my dad's coming over from the States. Then I could go to an extra gig because I could make him drive me instead of spendng a tonne of money on public transport

Kryssi. Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 I'm only saying soon, because a friend of mine got an e-mail from Jason Freese, and that's what he's meant to have said.
Hermione Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 You could join us in the fans-van hehe!!!*top secret shhhhhhhhhhhh*xOoh intriguing......count me in!!
Poo Flinger Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Has anyone noticed the picture in the upper right hand corner of this page http://www.greenday.com/site/news_black.phpIt looks like a newspaper and it says : 3 NEW ALBUMS FOR GREEN DAYIs that foreshadowing or is it fiction?
Hermione Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 ^Nah, that's just an old article from 2006, when they said they had "3 albums worth of material". They just meant they were working on a lot of songs, it doesn't actually mean 3 albums.A lot of people saw that picture and got the wrong idea, but it doesn't tell us anything new.
parinaz Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 I'm only saying soon, because a friend of mine got an e-mail from Jason Freese, and that's what he's meant to have said.are you sure?
netty Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 soon in green day land is a wee bit different to the soon most of us are used to.
watsername24 Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 ^Thats for sure but, well it's better than a rushed, half put together album. It'll be worth the wait
The Disappearing Boy Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 soon in green day land is a wee bit different to the soon most of us are used to. :wink:yep, i imagine that the rest of 2008 will be filled with little bits of news, until late in the year, or early next year, BAM, the big stuff will come.on an only slightly related note, am i the only one surprised by the lack of reaction from green day about obama's election? i mean they were in support of him, and everyone else has had their say.
Kryssi. Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Ha, well. She's a member on here, so maybe you should ask her. Haha. It's obviously not going to be this year anyway.
Ila Reto Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 honestly, i'd like a new green day album but i really dont miss "billie joe armstrong". i mean, i do. but i really miss the reverend. like it's not even funny how i'd rather hear a couple stories and pictures from an FHT show than go to some huge venue and end up being in the back of a show with 65,000 people. idk, please dont kill me. i just like him better lately. which doesnt even make sense, seeing that they're the same person and all :/
