Allyson Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Going to PasalacquaIt's one of my favorite songs by them but doesn't seem to be an overly popular one.
Sharmellow Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 ^The Kerplunk version is a million times better than the Dookie version I agree! For me, it has this fresh sound of it. If you know what I mean.
st.jimmy92 Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Haushinka...killer drumsLast Ride In...such a chillin songUptight...great vocalsJinx...rhythm, lyrics, it's all goodso so so many more those are just a few i been listenin to
Jack96 Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 The Kerplunk! version of Welcome to Paradise Most people think it's just on Dookie, when it's not.Yeah i actually like theKerplunk version about the same as the Dookie one becaus ethey are the same
Hermione Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 ^Nah! The bass is different, and the Kerplunk one has fabulous spooky noises in the instrumental bit. Plus the Kerplunk one has a wonderful raw sound to it that fits the subject of the song much better than the polished Dookie sound. Billie even makes a little mistake when he's singing the 2nd verse
Valley Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Insomniac, hands down. i mean 86, Panic Song, and Stuck With Me are mind blowing awesome.
plasticpictureframe Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 ^Nah! The bass is different, and the Kerplunk one has fabulous spooky noises in the instrumental bit. Plus the Kerplunk one has a wonderful raw sound to it that fits the subject of the song much better than the polished Dookie sound. Billie even makes a little mistake when he's singing the 2nd verse I love the raw sound, which is the reason why I like it more than the Dookie version. The Dookie version make me think, "Oh, they cleaned up the sound to go with the rest of the album." Now yea, its instumental is the most powerful of the songs on Dookie, at least in my opinion, but it's still more 'cleaned up' than its original version. The Kerplunk! version has energy, and the raw sound fits the words and brings more power and meaning to them. This is the version that I blast at full volume when I'm in a fight with my parents.
Kasmiria Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 I find Warning as a really underrated album. Maybe that's just me...
Opezi Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 The Kerplunk! version of Welcome to Paradise Most people think it's just on Dookie, when it's not.no thats like the best version i really don't think there is any bad song i guess my least favorite would have to be best thing in town
deanopeez Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 I haven't seen a lot of love for my favorite underrated track - Stuart and the Ave.LOVE the bass lick intro, and the truest line ever spoken - "We're all fucked up."
Tanner Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 christie road, no one knows, FOD, Prostetic Head, waiting, letterbomb, whatsername
PunkRocks and Coke Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Mechanical man is more of a Billie Joe song but thats a really good song.
Angela. Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Mechanical man is more of a Billie Joe song but thats a really good song.I love that song. But you're right, that's more of a BJ song, not a GD song.
Michelle Lynn Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 worry rock, going to pasalacqua, and even though alot of people think warning is the worst green day album i think alot of the stuff on there is great and most definatly underated.
†he sain† Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 i'd say hold on and/or church on sunday both from warning.. i think those two songs are cool but no one seems to care about 'em
Milo Goes To Pasalacqua Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 A lot of people believe Letterbomb to be underrated. It's not overrated, but i sure as hell do not see how it is underrated. Nothing off AI is underrated, except for maybe Give Me Novacaine.

Guest Hayley Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 A lot of people believe Letterbomb to be underrated. It's not overrated, but i sure as hell do not see how it is underrated. Nothing off AI is underrated, except for maybe Give Me Novacaine. To be honest I believe that both Give me novacaine and letterbomb are underrated songs.Well, the members of GDC know how good these songs are but ppl who are not into GD probably don't even know these songs.
Maddy. Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Whatsername, because no one knows it when I bring up GD  they always think of American Idiot
TREdawg591 Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Give Me Novacaine is amazing and really fun to play.
