GDOBSSOR Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Not just songs, but whole albums! Okay, so they weren't signed with a hugely well-known record company when they did 1039 hours and Kerplunk, but why wasn't Shenanigans in the charts? Something I'll never understand.
Jose Luis Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Not just songs, but whole albums! Okay, so they weren't signed with a hugely well-known record company when they did 1039 hours and Kerplunk, but why wasn't Shenanigans in the charts? Something I'll never understand. because people thought there were only bad songs that were released again because they didn't have success before, without even trying to hear it completely
stjimmysgirl221 Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 who wrote holden caulfield .... i love that song
Lotus Eater Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 Walking ContradictionSome of my favorite lyrics, great melody, no to mention one of the best videos. But most importantly, this song is so representative of BJ and of Green Day at that time, and just in general. I think it's as close to perfection as a song can come.

giant_teabag Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 Sorry, I couldn't choose one. I have committment issues you're not the only one.. but I really like Dry Ice though, to pick a song from their early albums. That's a great song, lyrics, melody, the music.. I love it

Awesome Posted September 7, 2006 Posted September 7, 2006 Definately Homecoming. Everyone is bragging about how great JOS is, and how big of an accomplishment it is to make a nine minute song, but they totally forget about Homecoming. I think Homecoming is at least as good as JOS, and it sucks that it wasn't a part of their mostly played playlist on tour..
