Jimi Hendrix at the top, where he should be.

Plus, The Jam should be MUCH higher, imo.

Glad to see them mentioned.

Of freaking COURSE they're not going to be in the top five - its a Rolling Stone poll.

But they aren't wrong in not placing them in the top 5...

Oh - I was saying the "of course they aren't in the top 5" to the people saying they should be.

I agree with their placement. There has, and will be, better bands and trios.

and ok, the living end may not be seen as number one by all, but honestly, wolfmother? the living end are ALOT better than wolfmother.

I thought it was just me...I nearly blew up the TV when wolfmother won 3 Arias that TLE were nominated for the other year. Seriously, if Wolfmother are on there, then both TLE and Alkaline Trio should be

Primus ?!

People actually listen to them ?!

I thought I was alone in the world

I listen to them almost every night for about 30 seconds on the Comedy Network.

1.Jimi Hendrix Experience

2.Nirvana

3.Cream

4.The Police

5.Rush

6.The Beastie Boys

7.Green Day

8.Muse

9.Primus

10.ZZ Top

Then reorder and add new ones, and you've got yourself good list.

I think i need some more TLE. Only have a few songs, though I really enjoy them quite a bit.

Happy to send you some one off's if you like?

And i reccomend their first album, if anything. I think that makes them what they are.

thank u

but the list that includes blink 182 wouldnt be that much valuable.

Considering there are a shitload of bands out there, #7 isn't too bad for Green Day (although of course they rank a lot higher in my book). Nirvana, Beastie Boys, Muse (a good live band too), Primus, and Ben-Folds Five aren't too bad either.

I want to jack your ass, Tom.

Fixed!

If it was an Australian magazine, then yeah. I'm pretty confident The Living End would be in there.

Oh well, pretty predictable list really.

i agree, green day deserve to be higher on the list. :D

and also, in my opinion, i think blink-182 should be higher!

I think it'd be cool to have the same kind of list like this but with rock duo's, such as the White Stripes or the Black Keys.
