LouLou Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 When I Come Around. I remeber when I was like 10, sitting at the pool and it coming on the radio. Now everytime I hear that song, I think about spending the day at the pool with my friends. It was great. We would go everyday during the summer from 12 noon till 8pm.
Mayra Vicious Posted October 25, 2008 Posted October 25, 2008 Oh, I remember it like it was yesterday It was basket case back in 1994 I was 16. The video was played alot on the music channel we had, and after I had seen the video and heard the song couple of times I started to fall in love with that song So from that moment on I've loved Green Day
Ally Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 I first heard them play American Idiot. But before that i saw them playing good riddance but didnt know it was them until i like got into them.
Pinhead-Stew!!! Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 Minority I think when it first came out, ages ago now. Didn't properly get into them till American Idiot came out though.
Spark of Insanity Posted October 28, 2008 Posted October 28, 2008 Well Longview was mine, but I hadn't registered then that it was Green Day.
nikkih Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 it would have technically been something dookie era on the radio when I was about 3 feet tall, but AI is what really got me into them (and as whoever up there said - don't judge me - I love it all now)
Kaddi. Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 Because I don't want to be to be seen as one of those people who know Green Day for one of the best selling albums of the 00's.I have other Green Day albums though xD.And yes, American Idiot is a good song.I totally understand you^^ American Idiot was my first GD song, too... I heard it on the radio and I immediately loved it although I was more of a "charts-listener" 'til then... but GD changed everything The first vid I saw was Basket Case...I think, but I'm not sure.
Alina_182 Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 i think the first musicvideo i watched was holiday or american idiot

the_reject Posted October 30, 2008 Posted October 30, 2008 I remember hearing Warning when i was like 6! cuz my aunty bought the cd and she was completely green day obsessed back then! =]but i didnt really get big into then until American idiot when i was in p7!first vid i saw was Boulevard of Broken Dreams in my friends house!"I'm not ashamed, it's just I would've preferred to have known them during the Dookie era, instead of AI era.=]"i totally feel the same wayit would've been amazing to go to woodstock in '94 when the mudfight happenedthat looked amazingbut unfortunately i wasn't even 1 yethope to see them this time round though!

gd-4-ever Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 that I can remember, wait, yeah, it was eather Warning, Deadbeat Holiday, or Misery. I remember them being my favorite songs when I was little. Along with Waiting but not 'till I was like 5. I first heard Green Day when I was born my mom said. They listened to them to and from their honymoon, and bringing me home from the hospital... so, you can say I grew up with Green Day/
coco7 Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 when i was little, i heard Good Riddance on the radio, but i didnt know who sang it, but i really liked it.
stuart telegraph Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 I don't know which song to be specific, but it was from Dookie. After that I bought Insomniac, 39/smooth, and Nimrod in that order, but lost interset around late 90's. American Idiot lured me back to them, plus going to see them live in 05 twice.
Eastwood Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 I'm pretty sure it was Longview. But the first video I saw was Warning, I thought it was damn funny.
greendaystalker#1 Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 the first song i ever listened to was long view and i loved it and it was on the dookie cd
macu Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Boulevard of broken dreams or Hitchin' a ride.
