It was sometime in the early 90's. I just heard When I Come Around at a hockey game.

first song: crap, I can't remember, but I know it was off of dookie. First song I actually remember was Geek Stink Breath.

First video: I know I'm going to get laughed at for this one, but it was When I Come Around. I thought it was Hootie and the Blowfish at first *smacks self upside the head*

I'm pretty sure the first one I heard was Good Riddance. I remember seeing the video on tv as a little kid, but it could've been When I Come Around...I don't really remember but I know that my cousin Missie was living with us and she was a huge Green Day fan when I was little so I used to hear them all the time.

Hmmm...well, it would've been off the Dookie album, and I think it was Burnout or Basketcase. All I remember is that my sister was determined to get me into Greenday in 2003...it all seem so long ago now. Before that, my mum kept going on about Good Riddance, but I had no idea what she was on about, and she never mentioned the name of the band when she was trying to remember the words! Lol.

Well I remember Good Riddance was on one of my cousin's burned CDs when I was 6. I seemed to like the song but didn't know the band name. Years later I hear it was by Green Day, which was cool to find out.

The first song I heard from them when I actually knew their name was Boulevard Of Broken Dreams.

And the first video was Holiday.

I have no idea what video. Actually, I have no idea what song either, but the first song I remember listening to is American Idiot. I got the album for my birthday and put it on before I went out for the day. American Idiot came on and after the first few lines I just remember smiling and thinking wow, this is awesome. My neighbour was a big fan, but by the time I came to appreciate them, he'd moved on. I'm gutted I didn't get into them earlier, but to be honest I was still pretty young, and they just hadn't been introduced to me. Still, I became hooked from the moment I heard them that morning!

American Idiot (unless I listen to one of their songs on the radio but didn´t notice it cause I didn´t know them back then)

First song I listened to was Minority, and I think the first video I watched was American Idiot. (Even though I knew about them during the Warning era, we didn't have music channels or anything so I couldn't see them)

The first song I heard was Holiday and the first video was also Holiday.

the first green day song i ever listened to was good riddance on that seinfeld finale commercial(around 2000). the first video was minority (also around 2000). but i didn't have a clue who they were and they didn't really catch my attention until american idiot. and when they did catch my attention, i couldn't stand them. hey, at least i'm being honest!

Song: Good Riddance (Although I didn't know it was Green Day at the time.)

Video: The first music video was... Holiday, I think. The first performance I watched was a live version of Extraordinary Girl, which I watched before Holiday.
