i'm 14 so i really haven't followed bands for ever, when i was 9 i listened to basket case and i really like it and then i didn't knew how to get music, as you see, i was avery retarded little girl, then i heard american idiot somewhere and love it ut i didn't knoew how he song was called, then in muchmusic they put on a live version of american idiot frome somewhere and i was like "oh these jackass play that song" and i bought american idiot, and searching the inernet i wote down all the names of the albums green day had and bought them and listened to them and i fucking love them, green day are the only band that never gets old for me, i'm always up to listen to their music, they're good at what they do, so i don't care if you call me poser of whatever because i'm a "new fan", so yeah, i only care about green day, i've been a crazy fan for almost four years

The first song I actually remember listening to was...Basket Case. I went to the Boys and Girls club forever ago, and we were in some music class learning about music videos. And they used it as an example. It was awesome. Then I heard them a bit later after that (American Idiot).

in some where after 2000, my friend let me borrow a CD, it was a compilation and blood, sex and booze was on, i didn't really know who it was but i liked it =) i found out who it was and thus an obsession was born.

it was Good Riddance (time of your life) and i was in 7th grade. i heard it, loved it and ordered the cd right then and there. i fell in love with everything about the album, went out and bought all their old cds and dug up every b-side off the internet i could. and have kept doing so for the last 12 years. i have all the albums including the network, foxboro hot tubs, i'm working on my pinhead gunpowder collection and i've downloaded (mostly legally) tons of rarities, live tracks, etc. anyway, i'm rambling. but i love the band. i love music with all my life, but green day is always in my top spot. yep.

When I was very young, it could have been When I come around or Warning. My bet is on When I come around. I never knew who sung it, I was too young. Then when American Idiot came out, someone used it in one of their videos, and I asked who it was...and my Green Day journey had begun!

American Idiot was mine, and I HATED IT! haha, but i was just getting into the music scene then and I dident have a taste in any music at the time, but the song grew on me, and over time I heard the other singles from the album come on tv, and i really got into them, so i picked up a copy of the album and havent stopped listening to it since, it is the album that changed my life, literally
