Well i think it would be Green Day for me. We don't really have graduation here (not that i know about anyway) and this year i am missing my AS level reults being released to insure i do not miss an F1 race live on TV. So i guess i would deffinatley choose Green Day.

Damn it, your short witty replies beat mine.

"shut up" is witty?

I chose sitting at home watching TV over my end of school dance. Still stand by my choice.

I'd choose Green Day!

Green Day, for sure. Like, wtf id probably pick anything over "graduation" ... seeing as im not ever gonna go to one, more than likely

They're both so uninteresting.

I'd probably go for my graduation.

Graduation, it only happens once. You can always travel to go see Green Day, even if I have to go to another state for it.

Posted

Green Day, cause all of my friends would go with me so it'd be like GD playing at my graduation

I still fail to see how "it only happens once" is a justification for anything.

wow, i didnt know graduation was that big

coz you won't be able to go to whatever it is again, so people want to go to it i guess.

wow, i didnt know graduation was that big

seems to be in the US.

Because you could easily travel to see Green Day, or wait until next time

You can't travel to another state to graduate with another school

It's the last time you're going to be together with the people that you pretty much grew up with.

I'm not saying this to be mean, but I doubt anyone will get you to understand because you dropped out

High school is suppose to be 'the best years of your life' and you obviously didn't think that, so graduation wouldn't be special to you...

Yeah but I also have most of this thread agreeing with me.

If it were between a night out with my close friends and a concert, I'd take the night with my close friends. Even in middle school, which was pretty decent, I felt like the whole graduation thing was a drag. So did most of my friends, we'd rather be at home seeing who can still play Guitar Hero on Hard after 3 shots of vodka.

Most, not all.

If you enjoy the whole thing, then go for it, do what makes you happy, that's what life is all about. What annoys me are the people who feel some kind of obligation to go if they don't want to go. Do what you enjoy, period.

well do you mean to go see green day at a concert

or go to graduationn ?

i chosee greendayy

but then again graduation is very important , well i think soo .

soo i sayy graduationn then go to the concert (:

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

green day ftw!!!!

graduation sucks balls. i just wanna get out of high school. i'd take BJ and the crew any day over any thing.

You only graduate once. You can see Green Day again. Besides that stated fact, choose Green Day!

Posted

Um...how close to "seeing" green day are we talking about here? Like first few rows? Or like the nose bleeds?

If it were the latter, that would be a difficult decision.

i enjoy making the people i love proud of me. thats why i choose graduation.

it doesnt really mean alot to me, but it does to everyone else.

well.... graduation is a "once in a life time opportunity"

But if i really had to choose i'd probably go with Green Day if i get good enough seats that is....

They're both really important to me although Green Day is like...my life

People who believe that need their head examined. What about college? What about the rest of your life? High school is hell for a lot of people. It is definitely not meant to be the best years of your life. It's only "the best years" for popular people who have it all, until they hit the real world.

And graduation isn't really a one time thing. Many people graduate from Kindergarten. Then there's potentially an elementary school graduation. I graduated from Middle School. And there's high school. Then for many nowadays there is college too. You can graduate more than once if you want to.

^Exactly. I went to my preschool, 8th grade, and high school graduation. All boring.

And yeah, high school is definitely not the best years of your life. If they are for some, that's pretty sad.

You get the necessary paperwork anyways.

So...Fuck Graduation.

I'd have to agree.

Graduation was boring. I didn't really want to go but did anyways. You still get your diploma, so why not go to the show? I didn't find anything that great about Graduation. I went through all the years of school, I just wanted to get my diploma and get out. I didn't really want to spend all day with a bunch of people I didn't really want to see anymore anyways. Won't go to my college graduation either, just finished filling out paper work for that. It's too boring. :/

high school is a very important part of many people's lives. you see your friends everyday and have fun while not having many worries. it makes sense for alot of people to consider it the best years of their lives.

those other graduations dont mean shit really.

They would never come here anyway. Problem solved :)
