FilmAdaptation Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 0|= (0|_||2$3^ of coursePssh, no spoiler needed.yeah exactly. Oh, well that's perfectly understandable then. Let's be honest, if I'm not listening to your band, why even exist?
Amanda Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 A naughty man just sent me this on myspacehttp://www.foxborohottubsdownload.com/
Nova-Caine Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Yeah 2 things, payments are credit card only and the form doesn't work if you live outside the states.Paypal would have been nice.
Amanda Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Yep, hopefully they'll sort that out soon or face an angry mob of non-Americans.
Nova-Caine Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Don't worry Amanda, pitch-forks are already being sharpened
chickin'pickin' Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 lol, people angry at green day?Unthinkable.
katie Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 im going to laugh when it all turns out that these guys werent even green day at all [i know it is, but i wish it wasnt because they suck ]
armatageshanks Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 im going to laugh when it all turns out that these guys werent even green day at all [i know it is, but i wish it wasnt because they suck ]So the point of saying that was...?
chickin'pickin' Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 It'd also amuse me if they weren't Green Day.But you'd be an idiot to think that they weren't.
Amanda Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 So the point of saying that was...?You know how dogs can't pass a lamp post without cocking their leg, even if they don't need a piss ?
Guest Brian Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 The Pedestrian song they're selling is WMA and has DRM. I did a preorder on Amazon for the cd. I'll wait until then to get the tracks.
Fuzz Posted April 1, 2008 Author Posted April 1, 2008 I can't decide on whether or not to post this. I'd rather people not buy this version and just wait for a DRM free mp3 from Amazon. Just for the sake of DRM.Though i guess this money would go more directly to the band. but i don't feel terrible about that, because they did put these up for download for free.someone emailed and said the quality from that download was great though.
Fuzz Posted April 1, 2008 Author Posted April 1, 2008 Digital Rights managementhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_rights_managementIt basically means that the file is encoded so that people can't mess with it, you can't convert it to an mp3 and it's not meant to play on other machines. It limits what you can do with the file.Obviously there's lots of ways around it, special converters and stuff - i just like the idea of supporting a DRM-free site, which basically means that people can do whatever the hell they want with it after they buy it.
**nobodylikesyou** Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 so if I already have it and am gonna buy the album, whats the point of me buying this? Especially if I can't put it on Itunes.
Fuzz Posted April 1, 2008 Author Posted April 1, 2008 no point at all unless you can't wait a couple weeks to get a better quality version.
Jose Luis Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 So, if we buy this version we can't put it in iTunes? I'm gonna
Fuzz Posted April 1, 2008 Author Posted April 1, 2008 if it has DRM as mentioned, then no. you can't just import it to iTunes. You'll have to strip it of it's DRM using some convertor. I haven't tried, so i can't really say for sure.
