molly1620 Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 I consider going if Green Day are playing, but I probably wouldn't have enough money.
parinaz Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 thats good Go vote for them here:http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/leeds/line_up.shtmlits about pass ofcourse.
sydneygirl Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 *sigh* Why does Australia have to be so bloody far away from England!!!
nene Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 I can come up with a dozen reasons for a GD appearance, and just as many to ease the disappointment if it doesn't happen. Last years headliners were confirmed in the NME around Feb 17 (ish). The official website will announce the definites towards the very end of March/beginning of April and tickets go on sale, usually, at 19.00 that evening.
Countrygirl Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 If it does happen, bring a video tape or pictures.
jadedghiacand Posted January 23, 2008 Author Posted January 23, 2008 thats good Go vote for them here:http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/leeds/line_up.shtmlits about pass ofcourse.I voted 4 GD twice and theyve got i think 79% of the votes and are clearly in the lead. I bet GD really are playing in reading.Im not camping though, we're just going to barge to the front and then leave the same night Theres actually heaps going on in Berkshire this year:http://www.bbc.co.uk/berkshire/entertainme...val/index.shtml
st.jimmy521 Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 omg i wud kill to see GD, RATM (), and the Foo Fighters!! too bad its in England....if it was it Madison Square Garden here in New York, i wud definitely go
RebelofSuburbia Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 if this turns out to be true then I would really consider going there.. hey england is only 40 mins away by plane xD I got another 3-day festival going on the week before Reading though so idk how I'd be able to live through everything if it would all happen
Anja Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 I think, you have to be very fast to get a ticket. Its always sold out.It really sucks that I can´t pay a flight by myself. Oh, no...I forgot. 100 euro to london. I hope Reading is near to london Is it?
netty Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 I hope you realise that that vote wont have any influence on whether they are playing or not. hate to repeat what I posted earlier on... but the inpression I`m getting is that they arent playing. hopefully I`m wrong but I dont think so. :/
Ingrid Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 I missed Reading Fest 04 cus I was in a school play or something but straight after my comitment we sat in the car with the windows opens and cought the last 15 mins of GD You really need to sort out your priorities
fev5 Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 If this is true i want to go so badly!!!!! Don't know if i can get there though!
XletterbombX Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 They should come to Valle Hovin insted. hell yeah.
OliDayyy Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 Erm if they're coming, i may begin to save my money for some months ! :At the moment, no one knows when reading festival tickets shall be released. Last year, it was around the 19th March in the evening. The lineup was shown at the same time.Prices will be roughly £165 for a ticket this year, including P&P and booking fee. Tickets will need to be bought on credit card or debit card. Cheques are also allowed.Unofficial website of Reading Festival
Joey Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 I've already got my ticket for this. I guessed during the 07 festival that Rage, Green Day and some indie band would headline this year.I saw them in 04 too, was great fun.
