netty Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 I think a weekend ticket will be about £150 this year and one day tickets £60 maybe £70. you need to like a few of the bands on I would think before paying that amount out. personally wouldnt go near the damned things.

Also apprently two headliners are Metallica and Rage Agaisnt the Machine, so if you throw Green Day in, I will happifly watch all headliners. Also someone asked about ticket prices, they will probably be at £165.

The reading 2004 was the best concert they I ever saw by them and now they will rock it again *sream* This is great. And if it´s true then it´s also prossible that they release their new record in this year... This year seems to be a good one

It's still speculation, but I posted it because there were at least three sources who mentioned Green Day as a likely headliner so it's not just idle speculation, there seems to be some pretty strong feeling that Green Day will be there. We'll know soon enough if it's true or not.And they played in 2004 before AI came out, so they didn't play any new material then, except that the single for AI, just the one song, was already out.

novacaine_kid Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 im not sure about this really, its possible and it would be fucking amazing if they did play but i think theres probably more chance of them playing next year instead. i think the headliners will be foo fighters, rage and metallica (or the killers) but i'd love to be proved wrong! i was there in 2004 and it was one of the most amazing things ive seen in my life
