Oh its cool, I've learnt that you don't always get what you want in life anyway. Being part of my family has really prepared me for that :P

Can I squeeze into your tent?

I'll give you some moody gold.

Deal? Deal.

Reading here we come.

I don't really see why we'd expect them to make a surprise appearance.

I know it's apples and oranges, but for whatever it's worth, they were surprise guest at the WBCN River Rave in 2000. They were on the bill, and then dropped off supposedly because it was never confirmed with the band themselves, only their manager. I sold my ticket when I heard that. And then they played anyway. I was not happy.

But whatever, this isn't about me. Obviously the situation isn't nearly the same thing as Reading. But when they were rumored as a potential headliner, you said you wouldn't have totally ruled it out. Would you totally rule it out now?

People here just dont have enough faith. It breaks my heart, God gave us all life, his son gave up his life to save us all, and this is how you repay him

On topic ... dont EVER totally rule something out, EVER. It could always be lurking around a corner, Green Day might lurk around a corner at reading.

It's impossible to say with 100% certainty that they won't show up - but when this news first came out i got an email from someone who had asked their tour manager, and he said the rumors weren't true. i was waiting for something official from the festival to confirm it. their absence on this list helps.

but Green day's never been known for their transparency.

Yeah me too, she's my plan B if i fail to stowaway in Loz's tent. That's if she has one, she seemed rather puzzled. :S

There was a joke? I'm losing it. the only thing I can think of is, um... a 'squeeze' in the tent.

they're 100% mostly like not playing as they would be headlining, and that would be the sunday at reading (friday at leeds?) and thats metallica, so that rules out green day altogether.
