I was so impressed when I got it 'cause you could switch to the other side of the album with a touch of a button. My collection of music wasn't so impressive, tho. I sorta remember an Air Supply... I've only heard them mention the FHTs after playing a GD song on the radio. But yeah, I don't listen to the radio often either.
justcause Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 There's an Indie station in L.A. playing Mother Mary a lot, the DJ said that was Green Day as the Foxboro Hot Tubs and he said his source told him they recorded it in one day on an 8 track. That was so cool.Seriously cool - and it kind of figures, because it all feels intense. Listening to all of the tracks, it made me think of Insomniac - even though the sound is completely different, it has the same sense of mood, of a particular moment.

Apparently the editors really liked their album. This is the first instance I've seen where the mainstream media has legitimized a Green Day side project. Sweet.here it is:

I've heard MCR reply to some people... well only one person... uhh.. I haven't heard about Green Day.I know that The Matches responded to a message one of my friends sent them.. also -laughs- Justin Timberlake.
