justcause Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 Anyone who was less than enthusiastic about WCH and Saints are Coming didn't have a problem saying it, so I don't see why it would be any different with this. I just love it, and I can't imagine anyone else but Green Day coming out with something so cool and original as an idea. They really inhabit these genres, it's like they're exploring and having fun, and letting us in on their creative process. To me, this little gem says far more than any Q&A could express. With all of that, the songs stand on their own merit, too - Mother Mary is as sweet and romantic as any of their early stuff, Red Tide is just hypnotic, Highway 1 and Stop Drop and Roll are just kick-ass rock. What's not to like?
