If it is Green Day then I guess it is a clever way of perhaps getting feedback on how the new album direction might be going. If people hate this sound then maybe it wouldn't be too late to have a rethink!

It sounds too much like Billie Joe to be someone else. Perhaps he should consider singing in an accent or something!
