The latest Green Day item you bought

A big flyer from a show in Köln, Germany sometime during the Nimrod era. I put it over my bed, and it causes my Strummer poster to fall down on me. Fuck! That's pretty fucking scary in the middle of the night; getting attacked by Joe Strummer. I think I'm gonna get a heart attack from that soon if I don't get myself some thumbtacks or something. Since tack-it's doesn't do the trick.

Last week, I bought some official badges, a 2009 calendar and a rare CD made only for Japan (includes all the hits by GD, but I can´t understand anything on the cover because it is in japanese!)...

I live in New England (the north eastern reagion of the USA) and here we have a store called Newbury Comics.

Newbs is my favoret store ever and I actually plan on getting their tooth face logo as a tatoo

but they do a lot of used stuff and I gett it all from there.

I got all the live EP's there and all the singles

I was actually at theire bigest store today and they had the Austrailian only release of Nimrod with 4 bonus tracks.

I only remembered when I left that i needed a new copy of thatr album.

kinda bumbed but the vilny totally makes up for it

I bought my nephew a shirt for Christmas. The one w/ the parents swinging their kid over the trap? That one. He and my other nephew actually hide the shirt I got one of them last year from each other. They hide it so they can wear it. It's hilarious, I had no idea they liked GD so much, but they do. I'm such an awesome influence

I got a dookie t-shirt that's 4 sizes too big for christmas.

^My dad got me a too-big Dookie t-shirt last year. But you're 12, you'll probably grow into it one day! Or just go for the baggy look, or wear it in bed.

Since he lives far away I just told him liked it (as it was a really thoughtful gift), and gave it to my brother, he'll never know . BUT letting him think I liked it has now backfired. I found out he's got me another Green Day t-shirt for Christmas , it'll be arriving soon. Chances of it being a boys t-shirt I will never wear = high. I'll wait and see.

this is my 8th version on vinyl of dookie. i've got 20 different versions of dookie now.

ps - only american versions of dookie come without ernie, due to copyright laws. the rest of the world gets ernie on the back on their dookies.
