Laura33 Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Boulevard of Broken Dreams? Oh well, I guess it will come in handy to play when a kid gets this CD instead of the shiny new bike they wanted
Countrygirl Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Way too happy and annoying! I like Green Day's "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree" cover more.
Marie_GD Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 It reminded me of the lullabies version but more up-beat.
Marsupial Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 why didn't they use Basket Case? omgzzTis sad ... but I found a Christmas like version of Basket Case here Ha, back on topic ... yeah, it sounded interesting, but I probably wouldn't actually buy either of those albums!
Guest Phoebe. Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Wow, I'm really surprised that common concensus is a huge thumbs down for Xmas GD songs. Normally most people on here lap up his kind of thing.Would you mind if there was a String Quartet version of AI? String Quartets have covered a lot of my favourite bands, C&C, Atreyu, Pink Floyd etc, what would you think if they did AI?
Sanah Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 From me, this deserves both a "What the fuck?" and an "Ewww." at the same time. They destroyed the songs.Badly.
MrGreenDayUK Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 Doing a different version of a song kind of implies that it wasn't very good in the first place, and you can do it better. But trust me, in most cases, you can't.
Melly. Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 I hate Christmas.I despise Christmas music. I will undoubtedly hate these disks.Add Christmas Lights to that list, and I'm with you.
