(i'ma firm believer they were good until after that tour.) we don't want green day laming out on us now!!!ANDDDD2) i'd totally rather green day relax and work on a new album rather than keep riding out american idiot. great album, great tour, but its time to move past it. let's not vote for them and agree to vote for say.....Muse? they seem to be the most popular second choice. my vote goes to them for those who want them to headline. =]

But, in this day and age, that's what popular music has become...Plus my dad works for Honda so I could get tickets easy. I may be a sell-out, but at least I can do it in style.

basketcase of suburbia Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 I can't imagine Green Day agreed to this since they haven't even begun recording yet, but I'm voting for them anyway.EDIT: Nvm., I voted MCS.The tour starts in April, they could easily have the album ready for May or June and start touring in April... anyway I'm almost sure the headliners are going to be Panic! at the disco, which sucks because the headliners of the Honda civic always come here right before or after the tour.And about the leeds/reading i've read the same thing...and if you think about it, the date is very logical i mean the new album is likely to come out in fall 2008 so they'll start touring for the new album around july 2008

netty Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 the band did not have a sponsor for the last UK tour. the last sponsor they had was verizon, if I remember rightly. and that was just for one of the last US tours. dont think it really matters what the out come of this so called "vote" is. if the band arent ready to tour yet, or if they dont want to Honda sponsor their next tour it wont happen. the fact that this vote has been put on the web doesnt mean the band are anywhere near to touring/releasing an album. this is nothing more than time wasting for those who vote/publicity for Honda. you can vote as much as you want, but you wont have any kind of influence on the decision.
