Sunshine2385 Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 we waited 4 years before, we can wait again.
parinaz Posted October 20, 2007 Posted October 20, 2007 I'm really dissapointed... Hate pianos /// Hate this vagueness... I'm tired of Billie's show off... I just want a new album!!! is it too much for 3 year's waiting???why do u think billie is showing off? sounds somhow nice, not kidding
queen_for_a_day05 Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Rolling Stone released a article describing the new Green Day album. The album so far has been written on piano, not guitar. Billie Joe admits that he is still lyrically looking for themes. He wants to figure out what he is feeling right now which is middle aged, and has stated that "Right now it seems stagnant." Apparently the band wants to make sure that they are being honest with themselves. Title and release date are still unknown.* Edited with link to scan *http://www.sonomawebdesign.com/greenday-1.jpgThanks for that It's great to hear that they are hard at work. I do hope that the album is good though coz I would hate it to be a flop for them :/
mistress Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 i've been getting really impatient too, but at least there's some news. I can't wait for itto come out. Thru every stage of his life, Billie's been able to write lyrics that everyone can relate to. I don't see that changing now, but I know what he means when he says things can get stagnant. You look at the world a lot differently when you're 17 than you do when you're 35, and I am soooo looking forward to hearing what he has to say. He saved me once withAI, i wouldn't be surprised it he did it again patience...patience....
DisappearingBoy95 Posted October 23, 2007 Author Posted October 23, 2007 The wait should be worth it.
music_that_is Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 we waited 4 years before, we can wait again. you're so damn right
klytaemnestra Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 we waited 4 years before, we can wait again. most intelligent thing you've ever said.
MrGreenDayUK Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 Sounds interesting. I hope they don't sound 'middle-aged' on the album- AI was great because it was rocky and uptempo, and I'd like the next album to do the same. I really don't want them to start churning out turgid Coldplay-esque trollop. All I can say is good luck guys, and keep up the great worK!
Jillie Boe. Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 I actually wish their new album would come out later. I actually hate AI because it reminds me of 2004, the year it came out in. 2004 / 2005 = Crappiest days ever!
Sunshine2385 Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 2005 was the best year ever!! but, if u dn't like it then
