Guest TwoDollarMellie Posted July 21, 2008 Posted July 21, 2008 well, my biggest fear is cocaroaches (idk if that's spelled right), so if i have to face them just to meet GD for 5 minutes, it isnt really worth it. Cause i'm not ONLY scared of cocaroaches, i have like cocaroachphobia or something (if that even exists lol), so i'd be in shock from the cocaroaches for probably a week. But if I REALLY had to choose if it happens in real life, I just might do it. I know that's kinda contradicting what i just said before, but i'm really not sure.

I can face the consequences of my biggest fear, but I doubt, if I have the nerve to go and have a nice chat after that..... I guess, I'll fall to a somekind of shock etc.

Not by an accident, by ignorance or reckless behaviour. And if I can't save them, then I don't think that I'll be all happy-go-lucky after that.

Basically anything with too many legs for its body!!! So meetin Green Day would be no bother to me, just as long as they aren't covered in bugs!!!!

Generally fears are irrational things which we cannot control - hence the reason they are our fears. I think it's stupid and naive to suggest you would be able to overcome these in order to see the members of a band.

I have a serious irrational fear of spiders - to the point I can't do gardening or go in spider-y areas, and I can't control my fear when I see one . But although it wouldn't cure my fear, I know I could face a tonne of spiders if it meant I could meet Green Day. Just like I could face the fear if, say, I'd get a million pounds for facing spiders. So there #Depends on the fear I suppose

I'm gonna be terrified when I eventually move into a place of my own, where no one's there to get rid of a spider if it's there. If I do see a spider in the house and it escapes, that's me paranoid for the next month, in case it comes back. I'm such a loser It would be really, really hard to face my fear. I suppose if I got to spend more than just 5 minutes with them (how about all day?) then I guess I could let a house-spider crawl over my hand for a few seconds. But only if it was outside, where if it fell I wouldn't have to see it again.I'm totally shuddering now at the thought.
