I didn't meet them at the simpsons premiere, just so you all know. They never bothered to show up. Strange, considering they have an entire scene devoted to them, whereas a bunch of people not even in the movie showed up.

I'm not obsessing. I deserve to meet my idols. I've been cheated out of doing so twice. I've loved green day for seven years. I've put enough into this love for them that I think I deserve the privilege of meeting them.

If some 14 year old teenie poser fan from Colorado got to party with them at the Simpsons Movie Afterparty (one who only wanted to meet Billie Joe, because she's such a teenie she doesn't even know Mike or Tre's name), I think I deserve at least a handshake or a "hello" from them.

Damn right. A lot of other people rag on me for wanting to write this letter, but I doubt any of them would have the courage to do so themselves. In regards to "but its a good thing you kept believing", I guess, but I'll only give them one more chance. If they, or fate, disappoints me, I may just give up.

Twat, I wrote my fucking letter, and with absolutely no help from you. In fact, I'm sure any advice or pointers you would have given me would have been stupid and full of grammatical and spelling errors.

I wrote my letter, and then re-wrote it. Then I checked it over, and re-wrote it again. Then I hand-wrote it out, and made sure that there were no cross outs or anything.

I wrote my letter, and I've been a true, die-hard, ever-devoted fan for seven, almost 8 years. So why don't you shut your fucking hateful, uneducated mouth.

First of all, did I ask for your opinion? This a thread about helping me write a letter, not making fun of me because I have a desire that you think is absurd or stupid. I never claimed I was the "only" fan that deserved to meet my idols, I never even came close to saying that.
