Guest Hayley Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 I don't like amusement parks, I usually find them boring. There are just a few things in an amusement park that I like.
Chad is Rad Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 I'm kind of obsessed with amusement parks, but I've never been on a big roller coster...it sucks, all I've ever really been on is small rides at the fair. I rode this ride (I guess you could call it a roller coaster) at Disney World that was called Space Mountain, but I've never really been on a huge one. That's why I can't wait to go to Six Flags in Missouri. I'm going in June.
chewychorizo Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 I looooooove rollercoasters so muchWe went to Busch Gardens and went on Gwazi? Idk but it's the big wooden oneAnyway my mum is scared shitless of heights and she started crying at the beginning all the way until the end. Really funny.
Guitar4Girl Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 If you went on Stealth you've got more guts than me, I could barely look at it xDi went on Collosus and hated every second of itI loved it! I get a bit nervous at first but then its all over in less than 30 seconds. Even my mum went on it, although she nearly lost her glasses Have you been on Rush, I looked down when we were right at the top and I felt like I was going to be sick I havn't been to a theme park for ages, I'm going to thorpe park soon though, I wanna try out the new saw ride.Saw was really when I went yesterday, probably a 90 minute queue. I haven't been on it yet but it looks good. They record a video of you while you're on it I've never been to disneyland, I've been to Legoland loads when I was little. I've got an excuse to go now because of my little cousin so I won't look stupid.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 I love rollercoasters. Unfortunately for my family, my mum is scared in practically any rollercoaster, little sister's too young/doesn't dare, other sister plus dad don't want to go in some things I want And I once was in one, and I later heard my mum was really scared, while she only had to watch the thing going Never get sick in them, but for some reason I can't go in those things that .... turn around.This. It just makes vertical circles, but man I get sick of those things
Angela. Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 I freaking hate amusement parks. Not only do the roller coasters scare the hell out of me, but the vast of amount of little shitheads children running around and bumping into me isn't exactly my idea of fun. This is pretty much what I think will happen to me if I ever go on another roller coaster again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpR6An7Owok
Astrid. Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Oh I love them!! Sixflags, or nowadays Walibi World, is just amazing I'm going there within 2 months.Goliath, the biggest one there, or even the biggest one in Holland is so cool At least, when you're in the front seatsThis month I'm visiting Disneyland Paris with my schoolfriends. I'm not too pumped about that.. it's more for the little ones. But when the Day Parade hits the park you have unlimited times to hit the rollercoaters
Chad is Rad Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Has anyone been to Six Flags in St. Louis, Missouri? I'm going there on June 1st, it should be amazing fun.

They record a video of you while you're on it They take a video?!Oh no.My face is so horrific on rollercoasters, it goes all smushy. How dare they!
Hermione Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Pleasurewood Hills is great . OK the rides aren't the best in the world but the fact there's NO QUEUES makes up for it. I'd always rather go to a smaller place like that because I hate wasting time having to wait in queues so much. Anyone been to Great Yarmouth pleasure beach? I recommend it!I'll go on any ride however scary looking, because the only thing that scares me about rides is the idea of them breaking. It doesn't matter how big or fast it is, it not breaking is my only concern so I'd be more scared on some small local fairground ride than a huge one at Alton Towers.
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Oh, I just remembered one of the best amusement parks I've been to. On holiday in Germany, I can't remember the name of the park [edit: just found it, Skyline Park], but it was cheap, hardly any queues (well, it was just an ordinary working/school day for Germans, but still), and good attractions. Including 2 or 3 of the best attractions I've ever been in
stxrlesseyes Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 All the times I went were in the summer and it was hot as fuck with really long lines. It was alright.
Hayley Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Ahh space mountain scared the shit out of me when I went to Disneyland in grade 2.I was sooo scared I was gonna fall off into space and die

That's just disgusting.
Hayley Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 SERIOUSLY?People were laughing?!Oh my god. That's just disgusting.Yeah! Like no joke. And the poor kid was just hanging there, screaming and crying. And he fell like 30 feet. It was traumatizing.
chewychorizo Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Oh dearI could never have watched thatIt would have been too traumatizing, indeed.Oh dearI could never have watched thatIt would have been too traumatizing, indeed.
Hayley Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 It was horrible. They even had to take it off YouTube cause it was so bad.
IzButt Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Disneyland/California Adventure FTW 8D My favorites.I've also been to Six Flags Magic Mountain, Hurricane Harbor, Knott's Berry Farm, Universal Studios, and a Six Flags in Virginia.
Hayley Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 ooh I'm going to Magic Mountain too when I go to california in 2 weeks.

A kid that small could slip out of the seatbelt.I made the mistake of watching Final Destination 3 a week before going to Thorpe Park xD.
OMNatalie Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 I'm going to Alton Towers at the end of this month with the schoolCan't waitAnd then in the summer holidays i'm going to Thorpe Park to check out the new Saw rideI have an annual pass to alot of the theme parks in the UK and visit Thorpe Park alot as it is the closest theme park to where I live. I loved Saw: The Ride! Themeing is excellent and it is fun, the worst bit is the lift hill but it goes up it quite fast and then it's over. and your going round the loop! Thorpe Park has to be my favourite park in the UK!I have also been to Alton Towers, which is good but I hate that it is so spread out.Disneyland Paris was amazing, I went in January.Others I have been to include Chessington Worlds Of Adventure and Legoland. My best mate is obsessed with rollercoasters so we go every other weekend!
