Laura33 Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Basket Case was amazing, I love it when you can hear the crowd singing along so loud. It was amazing at Reading 04, too.Christie Road is my fav live track for many reasons.

'86 Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 Homecoming!!!, amazing combination of different styles, rhytms, and singers! + We are the champions, was pretty nice too!
Eirik Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 all recordings i've seen of 86 live was completely amazing and Minority and Basket Case were great off BIAB
Nimrod99 Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 They played Stuart And The Ave.?Yep, it was the very first song they played at the show I went to in 1995 or 1996 (thinking 1995, but I don't feel like pulling out my Insomniac CD just to check the year on the ticket stub I put in the cover) during the Insomniac tour. Good times those were, good times. lol.
Hermione Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 ^Wow, that's fantastic, you lucky bugger . I love that song, they totally should've played it more often. Where was this concert where they saw sense and played it for once?
Nimrod99 Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 ^Wow, that's fantastic, you lucky bugger . I love that song, they totally should've played it more often. Where was this concert where they saw sense and played it for once?Portland Oregon. Yeah, it was amazing. I remember at the end of the song, Billie kept repeating "You're all fucked up". lol.
Ila Reto Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 in all my days, i have never seen Panic Song, Stuart & the Ave, and 86 live on youtube. now that i've read that 2 out of 3 have actually been played at a show, this means im out Bootleg searching! i can already feel what little cash i have being flushed down the drain
Hermione Posted August 17, 2008 Posted August 17, 2008 ^^Lol, that's cool . Shame there's no audio or video of it, oh well.Hmm, I can't decide on my favourite, I've definitely got favourite concerts to watch, but to choose an individual song is hard. At the moment I'm thinking Paper Lanterns is probably my favourite overall - guaranteed hijinks
Guest give me novacaine-jos Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 good riddance (time of your life) - bullet in a bible
Kimpsu Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 good riddance (time of your life) - bullet in a bibleIt always makes me cry, it's sooo beautiful
Guest give me novacaine-jos Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 ^^yeha billie's voice is always great when he sings that song...
karma1215 Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 She or Minority generally carries well with the crowd in my opinion and maybe Knowledge.
Hermione Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 ^I freakin' love watching them do the whole Knowledge thing, I never get tired of it. Just thinking, the wonderfulness of Hitchin' A Ride live deserves mentioning.Don't think I need to explain why.....
mandypants19 Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 ^^ i love love love, Hitchin a Ride! haha, and not just because of the...uhm..obvious, but it just always sounds so awesome
Laura33 Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 I hate watching Knowledge live. I am one of those weird people who cringes for other people to the point where it is painful for me. And the people who get up and can't play make me wanna cry. There is the one version where Tre doesn't like the drummer that was picked and makes a sign to Billie, then all you hear is "Alright, Tre doesn't like you, get the fuck off his drum kit and get the fuck off my stage" or words to the effect.
Hermione Posted August 19, 2008 Posted August 19, 2008 ^Hehe, I quite enjoy the cringeworthiness of it, I must be evil I like this from the 1997 San Jose gig, Billie goes through the whole thing of "are you SURE you can play?", then the bloke gets up on stage and the first thing he does is lean into Billie's ear to tell him he can't play , to Billie's and Mike's disgust. In this case the bloke's really taking the piss though, so it's not cringeworthy.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfiRq1kmLPQ
Guest kerplunkadeline Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 i think 'holiday'...especially bullet in bible...it's great .."a big fuck you to all the politicians"

Just thinking, the wonderfulness of Hitchin' A Ride live deserves mentioning.Don't think I need to explain why..... Haha, I'm listening to 'Knowledge' right now... it was my favorite part of the concert, really. He was so sweet to the kid that froze on stage bless his heart. He gave him his guitar, then said, "Now go fucking practice," it was AWESOME! I nearly cried, I was so happy for those complete strangers lolBut Going to Pasalacqua from Foot in Mouth has got to be one of my favorite live tracks.
