rootbeersoup Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Simple Plan has got to be the worst "band" I've ever heard... I'd rather listen to anything else in the world...
xXx.:Jinx:.xXx Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Simple Plan has got to be the worst "band" I've ever heard... I'd rather listen to anything else in the world...I totally agree! Thats the best thing I heard all day.Of course GC was influenced, Blink, maybe MCR.. theres quite a few, but I can't think of anything that hasn't been said yet.

cute-zone Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 I still couldn't take that dudes voice seriously, damn its awful.Actually I don't think they're full of shit,at least..We can't deny that their songs have inspired alot of people.
xxx Sarah xxx Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 All those crap bands we have taking over our radios as I speak
IWantYourBabies Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 i'm so proud you said that! Why are you proud?
Slappypunk Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 How were Blink-182 revolutionary? They basically copied Green Day and watered it down and trivialised it until it was just crap rip-off pop. They sucked and Tom DeLonge is a stuck-up twat. But respect to Mark for what he's doing with +44.I still can't believe you think Blink-182 were revolutionary just because they ripped Green Day's style and jumped on the pop-punk bandwagon^kay now i dislike blink-182

FJ Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 This thread should be retitled 'Green Day Influence!' rather than 'Punk Influence!', because Green Day aren't punk, they're punk-rock at best.
randomness Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 yeh, Green Day influence would be a better title.
FJ Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 yeh, Green Day influence would be a better title.Yes! Yes! I finally influenced a mod!!!
IWantYourBabies Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 what was it originally called?Punk Influence.
Relavar Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 Well, why would it be called that?Green Day isn't the root of punk.& the question wasn't even relating to punk influence, just green day influence. So, uh. Bad choice in beginning title.
randomness Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 if you start off the is green day punk thing, i must just have to go and get a knife from the drawer downstairs
jesus the rage guy Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 i wonder if somebody realize that all the bands who have green day influence suxs i mean, there's only one green day
-zero- Posted June 14, 2007 Author Posted June 14, 2007 Well, why would it be called that?Green Day isn't the root of punk.& the question wasn't even relating to punk influence, just green day influence. So, uh. Bad choice in beginning title. No, it started off asking what bands were influenced by Green Day, and it was mostly pointed toward "Punk" bands.
Relavar Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 No, it started off asking what bands were influenced by Green Daywhich is why is was a bad first title.but it's changed, so it's all good dude.if you start off the is green day punk thing, i must just have to go and get a knife from the drawer downstairs that was not my intention.so hopefully, that doesn't happen.
IWantYourBabies Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 i wonder if somebody realize that all the bands who have green day influence suxs i mean, there's only one green day It's hard not to realise...
-zero- Posted June 15, 2007 Author Posted June 15, 2007 I like some of the bands GD influenced. I don't see what's so bad about them. Not to start anything.
jesus the rage guy Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 It's hard not to realise...yesi mean, u can like at least one of thembut they are far way from the green day level
