cellophaneice Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 It's kind of funny how star magazine is the only one with this infromation. I would think that someone else would of picked up on it by now. :/
**nobodylikesyou** Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Why on earth would it be a bad thing to see them perform live? Anywhere? I don't understand any reasoning for that.Me neither. ...... http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1560264/2...green_day.jhtmlMTV news (its a slow link)
No Man Can Eat Fifty Eggs! Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Hey, I wanna see them perform. I don't give a shit if it's on American Idol!
spark in the night Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 if this rumor is true would anyone mind taping it for me?I'll be at an awards ceremony tonight
everdays Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Eww. I mean, I know if they perform it would be to promote the crisis in Darfur, and that's a good thing.I guess I just have an aversion to anything American Idol.
**nobodylikesyou** Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 ^Hopefully your loyalty to Green Day will overpower that aversion to American Idol. Kelsey, come on where are your priorities? :/
Mechanical Man Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Never, NEVER, believe Star Magazine. That magazine is like those little magazine's that say you know, "Vampire Kid: Strikes Again!"Don't believe one, single word.
Boston Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 What'd he say? Now I'm curious of what Simon thinks because he's such an asshole that you want to see what else he comes up with to say.Simon is the only reason I'd ever watch American Idol. He's not an asshole, he's honest. And I'm sure if he did say anything about Billie it was about his nasly voice.
spark in the night Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Kelsey, come on where are your priorities? :/I know but for once I need to put scholarships before Green Day
FJ Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 It's a rumour. Only greenday.net would fall for such bullshit.
Angy Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Me neither. ...... http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1560264/2...green_day.jhtmlMTV news (its a slow link)me too i would like to see them on tv!
spark in the night Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 It's a rumour. Only greenday.net would fall for such bullshit.I know right who runs that site? some random guy?I got an email from vh1 that said something about this rumor tooguess we'll have to wait and see
**nobodylikesyou** Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 It's confirmed they're on. I'm in LA and I called KROQ to ask if it was true and they put me on the air with the rumor because they said they had news they weren't allowed to say, but if I said it, it would be ok. After I said there was a rumor they were going to be on, they asked the dj who said he had news if it was true and he said yes, he was told yesterday but he wasn't allowed to say anything.Well kids this ISNT a rumor. I dont see why they wouldnt do this. Its just days before the album/video is released, it will be televised to MILLIONS of people around the world. It would definately get their name out there again for all the people who have forgotten them since American Idiot. Then next week when the video/album is released, people will buy that and the cd like crazy. More money for the cause. Sounds exactly like something they would do.
minimouse Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 It's a rumour. Only greenday.net would fall for such bullshit.Doesn't the guy who runs Greenday.net have some sort of connection to the band?
Trotsky Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 It's a rumour. You Brits and your extra "u"'s everywhere.Well kids this ISNT a rumor. I'm fine with it as long as they are promoting the record and not themselves. If they play one of their own songs I'll be pissed off.
**nobodylikesyou** Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 i dont think they will care if youre pissed off.
piratepalmer Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 Simon is the only reason I'd ever watch American Idol. He's not an asshole, he's honest. And I'm sure if he did say anything about Billie it was about his nasly voice. Let's split the difference; he's an honest arsehole.Really....
randomness Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 poxarama haha you come out with the most awesome words.i guess it would be a bit odd, Green Day being on something like American Idol but i wouldn't complain, they haven't done an appearance for so long!
woven_basketcase Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 w00t.i think i'm going to watch. ooorrr wait for it to come on YouTube. haven't decided yet.
hardtoconcentrate Posted May 23, 2007 Posted May 23, 2007 What time is this on at in the U.S then? At first I thought it was a little strange that they would be appearing on American Idol but after thinking about it, they obviously want to promote the single and the cause-what better show to go on? Is it not one of Americas mostly watched shows or something?? Looking forward to seeing them perform...its been so long!!!!!!!
