I seem to recall GD saying years ago that they wouldn't do The Simpsons - they did King of the Hill, but that wasn't as themselves. So, either they had a change of heart, or it's a parody; if it is a parody, I wonder if they even know about it?

I can't remember exactly - I think it was to do with taking themselves seriously; the thing with Laurie L on Kerplunk, they totally went off because of how it kind of sent them up, and I'm thinking The Simpsons was maybe the same sort of deal in their eyes.
