Before Green Day, I pretty much just listened to whatever was on the radio or MTV. I wasn't that into music before Green Day. They really opened my eyes to good music.

Before Green day my favourite band was Linkin Park . I also listened something like Rasmus) :-P But, generally, I didn't care what I listened to)I could listen just to songs on radio)

now that i think about it , i didnt have much of a music life befor green day. My blink 182 craze only lasted for a few months befor i like green day. I guess befor them i didnt have the passion for music like i do now.

There wasn't any particular band or artist that like stood out for me like Green Day does now. I listened to a lot that was just on the charts a bit. though I did prefer the pop/rock thingies over rap or r&b. Avril Lavigne, Pink, Linkin Park, The Rasmus.. that kinda stuff. Oh and Hilary Duff

I was kinda in an awkward/confused music stage, where music wasn't really that important to me.

Which is like, completely the opposite of now.

Sum 41, and nothing. I was 9, people

Well... I was brainwhased into listening to nothing but Country music by my parents... So, the basic Toby Keith, Alan Jackson, Gretchn Wilson type music... Now I can still listen to it, but any rock music is a ton better.
