Life before Green Day

I have always listened to about anything. I grew up with lots of Beatles, David Bowie, Fleetwood Mac, etc. because my parents were both huge music fans. We also had tons of ballet and broadway soundtracks, not to mention lots of Miles Davis and such.

Personally, I've just added on to the kind of music I listen to. I still love most of the music that I listened to in fifth grade!

My life was shit before Green Day.

I just folowed what everyone else listened to.

My sister always watched the music channels so i thought i loved pop.... :pinch:

Then a friend tried to get me into Nirvana, Foo Fighters and some other heaps depressing music.

So i always folowed what everyone else listened to.

Green Day are the first band and music Genre i found and lvoed on my own.

And they will always be my favourite :]

Green Day is the second band i've been a real fan of, the first one was Spice girls :whistling: but i stopped being a fan of them when they split up. In between the spice girls and gd period, i just listened to a lot random music without being a fan and care too much about it. I actually listened to boybands  i just can't stand that kind of music today, and also other things like The offsprings, nickelback, eminem and stuff

Me too.The first one was The Beatles. There was time when I wanted to marry Ringo Star  But that was for short.

Before Green Day I mostly listened to the old bands ,from the 60s and the 70s ,a bit from the begining of the 90s too.

Green Day got me into music actually. Before them I wasn't so in music like I'm now :)

Well I wasn't really a fan of any band before I heard green day ( I was 8) but I did listen a little to blink 182. I've always hated like n'sync , brintney, the backstreet boys etc. so i was never into that kind of music anyway.

Green Day sort of got me into punk rock music.

before i heard Green Day, i never really listened to music because there was nothing good to listen to

but then when i started getting into GD, i realized there was better music out there that i've never heard before and that there WAS good bands - i just hadn't discovered them yet...

I'm embarrased about it, but I listened to Avril Lavigne.
