A life without a certain band is no life? thats rather pathetic and sad, im afraid....there are bands out there, just as good if not better.

I don't know if I want to disclose this information...but I will.

I used to listen to Britney, Hilary Duff, and especially Vanessa Carlton. But even before then I listened to oldies on the radio, including the Beatles and Beach Boys and all that. Then I listened to Queen, and then, WHAM! I heard Green Day. And then I thought, "Fuck pop. I like punk." And that was that. :D

well, at first, i hated music. like i hated the radio, my brother's eminem cd's...

then all of a sudden , to fit in, i started listening to rap. like eminem, ja rule...and stuff like nsync, destiny's child. haha. wow. those were a bad 3 years.

then i saw green day's american idiot video and actually started to like decent music !

Hah, I remember I loved David Pedersen. (a guy from the Norwegian Idol-thing).

I'm glad I don't listen to him anymore.

i liked my dads music, bits of it

but also some stuff completely opposite to my dads music (eg linkin park)

when i got into green day it was kinda in between, it was really excellent quality stuff.

im now bumming my pas record collection, green day kind of gave me a link to the clash, etc.

-shivers-

That is a time of bad, bad memories.

I'd rather not think about it.

It's too repulsive for me to even think about.

My sister always had GD on when we were in her car,but at 8 years old, you dn't really care what is being played. So I got into my mom's music, sad I know. Like Mariah Carey, and some other easy listening artists. Then in my teen years, I was crazy about pop music. At age 16, is when it all changed. GD totally rescued me from the horrible crap I was listening to.
