The biggest difference between the two pictures is that Yoko and John's photo's were taken in an authentic enviornment that wasn't really promoting anything other than peace.

Adie and Billie are selling clothes.

I think the idea is cheap, but the photo is genius.

well technially, the photo isn't selling clothes

there is no sign or logo of any kind in that photo that represents Adeline

the only way that we would know it was about Adeline was because of that article in the magazine

if it was just that picture standing alone, it would just look like a picture of Billie and Adie

Well, I mean, when he was younger he used to play shirtless sometimes, and he played on stage nude before, and always shows some form of body part at concerts, so, its really not weird that there is a picture of him, showing his chest or whatever. It was bound to happen sometime..

Regardless if its a picture of Billie and Adie, I think it's completely stupid to compare them to John Lennon and Yoko Ono.

Firstly, John was in a band called 'The Beatles'

Billie Joe is in 'Green Day'

Yoko Ono was an avant-garde artist in Japan before she met John, and a pioneer to punk rock at that.

I just don't like it when people try to take something so historically authentic such as John and Yoko's bed in for peace & recreate it into something cheap and not as brilliant.

I mean, everyones saying that Sex is what they're trying to sell. I think it was more of an attempt of projecting the image of Making Love, rather than saying that Adeline clothing = sex.

The problem with that analogy is this, love isn't lust. Sure, John and Yoko made love, and weren't at all private about it, but they were holding hands in bed, writing songs, and smoking cigs -- no makeup. There was nothing glamorous or sexually provactive about it. It was fitting for the time, and it made sense.

Adrienne does indeed look beautiful, I just wish artistically, it could have been a bit more original.

I could be completely wrong about this. Whatever though.
