Yeah, but I think this picture is meant to be provocative - I think the John and Yoko analogy is what jumps out at you, and whether it's appropriate or not is the provocation.

Green Day had a very striking photoshoot for Rolling Stone under the banner of 'Working Class Heroes', which was putting them alongside the theme of Lennon's song of the same name - pictured against an industrial backround; interestingly enough, that's in Adeline's News/Media section, because Billie's wearing Adeline in that one also.

I think it's a pity to take what's actually a pretty appropriate analogy for Green Day and devalue it by making it a photo-op for a clothing line, even if this new one is tongue-in-cheek, as it appears to be.

Well, they have to get their clothing line out their someway. So, since it is Billie Joe (of green day duh) they are using to their fullest I guess you could say. It still reprsents Green Day but in a broader way.
