cellophaneice Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 I'm not saying that the stuff in the book isn't true, but i'm always leery of books like this especially when its not coming directly from the source.
xxx Sarah xxx Posted June 16, 2007 Posted June 16, 2007 I found it. At Dymocks. Now who wants to send me $40?
dreamy22 Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 sorry, i'm broke......wait for the end of financial year stocktake, it will be cheaper
Boston Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 i'm not really into reading :/Read this book. Its very interesting, as it doesn't only talk about Green Day, but also the Gilman St. scene that influenced them, and it delved deeper into Green Day's history then any other book I've even read on the band.
asknomore Posted June 21, 2007 Posted June 21, 2007 Haha. Stupid me :verymad: Thought it wasn't out already, but I was thinking of something else.I'm broke now, but I'm definitely gonna buy it.It's gonna be such an egotrip when I can say 'I had it flown over from America' just like my LP book.
BrainStew27 Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 i think they should write a book like it on each of the band members. i would have to buy all of them
redundantle Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Hmmm.... I borrowed the book off a friend awhile back. I only got to read about half of it before I had to give it back, but the part I read was good. I think I need to borrow it off her again to read the rest... :/
The Daughter of Rage and Love Posted June 22, 2007 Posted June 22, 2007 Really good book (read it in a day), probably the best I've ever read. The pictures are nice too.
