goodday Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 That's cool how much did you paid for that?I don't remember the value, but was not expensive: the price of the book more a tax to ship it. You can go to the Amazon and to know it without conclude the purchase.....I bought by credit card.

mbk Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 "The older ladies just absolutely loved him," Marie Louise Fiatarone confirms. "He'd go out and shake hands with them and talk to them. For a while, I think there was a little concern that this image doesn't go with his current image. But when you're 5, it's another story."Cutest thing EVER! awwww, Mini-BillieThe old ladies love him still... I thought the book was good. It's very journalistic, with a lot of facts and info and quite a few interviews with people who knew them back in the day, plus, as others have said, background info on the scene that spawned them. I kind of wished it was more like an essay, more personal thoughts and insights from the author about their music and how they have affected fans and listeners. There were also a lot of weird little factual errors and typos, like they were trying to get it done and published in a hurry.
harp baby Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 I'd love to read it, but I've got more important things to spend my money on at the moment
**nobodylikesyou** Posted January 1, 2007 Author Posted January 1, 2007 Delfina-I noticed the typos too. Its been a couple of months since I have read it, but I do remember thinking, did someone proof read this puppy?I still think it is by far one of the best books on Green Day I have read. And as far as I know, I have read all of them.BTW- I heard you went to the NYTIMES interview thingy? Is that true? Was it amazing? I wish I had all the questions from the ? ans answer session. I'd love to read it, but I've got more important things to spend my money on at the moment HOney, you need to get your priorities in order, there is nothing more important than Green Day.
mbk Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 BTW- I heard you went to the NYTIMES interview thingy? Is that true? Was it amazing? I wish I had all the questions from the ? ans answer session. It was amazing! It really was, just watching him talk, he was so humble and unassuming... sigh. I didn't get to talk to him and get an autograph cos I was too far back in line, but I wasn't even upset. I went home floating on a cloud...And the q&a is posted in the videos section. It's actually just audio but it's posted in video (mainly my fault. )

I love listening to that interview. In fact, I think I may do that now. What a way to start the New Year!!! I will go check, the one I have (I dont remember where I got it) cuts off in the middle of someones question. It is about 6 or 7 minutes long. Is the one you are speaking of different than that one?
