When they were recording the album they thought it would be fun to hire a dominatrix to add some authentic "sound effects" to the song. They got 'Mistress Simone' to come to the studio to do her stuff to a young sound engineer called Tone who was working on the album with them. Apparantly they told him he wouldn't get a credit on the album unless he did it, so he didn't have much choice in the matter! The sound we hear is, according to Billie Joe, "our engineer Tone taking his first flogging."

It was filmed too. I remember watching some random documentary about Green Day where they showed a few short clips of it happening. The poor bloke looked pretty scared!
