justcause Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 meh...i dont like u2 and i wont ever like them....remember the lemon? Fuck, yeah! When a band can't get it up without a giant plastic lemon behind them onstage, when they can't trust themselves or their music to get the message across, that band has lost itself. And hadn't they ever seen Spinal Tap, lol?!
ILoveTableArt Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 meh...i dont like u2 and i wont ever like them....remember the lemon? Yes the Lemon! hahaI haven't watched tv in nearly a month. I'll be watching this however.

woven_basketcase Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 U2 - fucking great.Green Day - amazingly great.Together? one hell of a monday night. man, what a way to kick off the school week.
Sid_Is_Innocent Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 That's gonna be great! It'll be YouTube in not time.
justcause Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 U2 suck live.I wouldn't say they suck, exactly - they were kind of a dead-zone during their last tour, but they're all good at what they do, and they're capable of rocking out if the adrenalin is there.I'll grant you, the adrenalin seems to have been AWOL for quite a while now, but I feel like Green Day will force them to raise their game or look fucked with the whole world watching!Hopefully, the good cause involved won't prevent them from a little professional competitiveness, which would make it kick-ass.
Lotus Eater Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 this is awfulI'm interested in the rationale behind this statement.
*withoutadoubt* Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 I'm interested in the rationale behind this statement. He's Mike. Isn't that sufficient?
Lotus Eater Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 ^^Exactly, which is why I'd love for him to elaborate--for entertainment purposes--except before, I was trying not to be insulting. Oh well.
