Most of my favorite bands wouldn't exist. I wouldn't be how I am today. I probably wouldn't be into punk rock or metal. I'd be more into pop and dance like I was before I discovered Green Day. Or I could be like I am today only obsessed with a whole different band.

I actually have no idea what my life would be like if I never discovered Green Day. Now I kinda want to meet a guardian angel like in the movies and see.

I would probably like other bands. Simple as that. There are plenty other bands that promote individuality, not only Green Day. So I would be the same person I am now, I think. I cannot say for sure, because I don't know for sure. But it's what I think. Avril also taught me to stand up for myself, and what I believe in. Green Day just strenghtened that, and because of them I met a lot of people that I care about a lot.

They are kind of a motivation that keeps me going on, and doing what I gotta do.

Not even talking about how much different my music taste would be. It's weird but, they were my first and only real band obsession I had, and everything came after that.

Well... first and foremost, I wouldn't have met some amazing people on this forum. Specifically Tasha, Sameen, and Mary. And that thought really bothers me. I wouldn't have found out about Live Freaky! Die Freaky!, which led to my complete admiration for John Roecker. So I wouldn't have ever known about Svengali or any of his projects. That also really bothers me, the thought of not knowing about one of my biggest inspirations.

Musically... I may not have gotten into punk rock or rock in general when I did. I guess Avenged Sevenfold would be my favorite band.

In terms of personality, Green Day gave me that push to be batshit insane and outspoken without caring about the opinions of others. I suppose without them, it would have taken me longer to be as confident as I am now.

Well, no, but I'd be COMPLETELY different. Green Day is (partially) why I am who I am.

And I'd probably be clinically depressed as well. Green Day's gotten me through a lot.

I came across Green Day's music when i was in emotional breakdown.

I have to say Green Day really save me ! If their voice did not come to my head at that time , I had had done something terrible.

this is such an depressing thought! i would probably just be listening to the same music for the most part, but i don't see myself obsessing over anyone else. i think i like myself more because of these guys, i don't know how different i'd be without them.. :/
